So I went in and saw. And there, engraved on the wall all around, was every form of creeping things and loathsome beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel.

予入而觀之、有不潔之獸、昆蟲之狀、及以色列族所拜諸偶像、繪於壁四周、

So I went in and looked, and I saw portrayed all over the walls all kinds of crawling things and unclean animals and all the idols of Israel.

So I went in and saw the walls covered with engravings of all kinds of crawling animals and detestable creatures. I also saw the various idols worshiped by the people of Israel.

I went in and looked, and there engraved all around the wall was every kind of abhorrent thing— crawling creatures and beasts— as well as all the idols of the house of Israel.

So I entered and looked, and behold, every form of crawling things and animals and detestable things, with all the idols of the house of Israel, were carved on the wall all around.

So I went in and saw, and there— every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls.

“ You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

But first I will doubly repay their iniquity and their sin, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable idols, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.”

“ You shall not eat any abomination.

“ And these are unclean to you among the swarming things that swarm on the ground: the mole rat, the mouse, the great lizard of any kind,the gecko, the monitor lizard, the lizard, the sand lizard, and the chameleon.These are unclean to you among all that swarm. Whoever touches them when they are dead shall be unclean until the evening.

Yet of those that chew the cud or have the hoof cloven you shall not eat these: the camel, the hare, and the rock badger, because they chew the cud but do not part the hoof, are unclean for you.And the pig, because it parts the hoof but does not chew the cud, is unclean for you. Their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall not touch.

Whatever goes on its belly, and whatever goes on all fours, or whatever has many feet, any swarming thing that swarms on the ground, you shall not eat, for they are detestable.You shall not make yourselves detestable with any swarming thing that swarms, and you shall not defile yourselves with them, and become unclean through them.For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls on the ground.

But anything in the seas or the rivers that does not have fins and scales, of the swarming creatures in the waters and of the living creatures that are in the waters, is detestable to you.You shall regard them as detestable; you shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall detest their carcasses.Everything in the waters that does not have fins and scales is detestable to you.

Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they, are your lot; to them you have poured out a drink offering, you have brought a grain offering. Shall I relent for these things?On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed, and there you went up to offer sacrifice.Behind the door and the doorpost you have set up your memorial; for, deserting me, you have uncovered your bed, you have gone up to it, you have made it wide; and you have made a covenant for yourself with them, you have loved their bed, you have looked on nakedness.You journeyed to the king with oil and multiplied your perfumes; you sent your envoys far off, and sent down even to Sheol.You were wearied with the length of your way, but you did not say,“ It is hopeless”; you found new life for your strength, and so you were not faint.

Because she took her whoredom lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with stone and tree.
