斯土居民乎、為爾所定之報臨爾、其時已屆、其日伊邇、乃喧譁之日、非山上歡呼之日也、

爾民罹災、次第以及、爾之日期已屆、患難之日伊邇、山林之間、不聞歡樂之聲、

居斯地之民歟、所命之災已及爾、其時已屆、荒亂荒亂或作驚惶之日伊邇、山上無復歡呼、

Doom has come upon you, upon you who dwell in the land. The time has come! The day is near! There is panic, not joy, on the mountains.

Death has come on you who live in the land. The time for you to be destroyed has come. The day when it will happen is near. There is no joy on your mountains. There is nothing but panic.

Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. The time has come; the day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting on the mountains.

O people of Israel, the day of your destruction is dawning. The time has come; the day of trouble is near. Shouts of anguish will be heard on the mountains, not shouts of joy.

Tell them therefore,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ I will make this proverb to cease, and they will no more use it as a proverb in Israel;”’ but tell them,‘“ The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision.For there will be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.For I am Yahweh. I will speak, and the word that I speak will be performed. It will be no more deferred; for in your days, rebellious house, I will speak the word, and will perform it,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.

For it is a day of confusion, and of treading down, and of perplexity, from the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, in the valley of vision, a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.”

“ Therefore tell them,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

The great day of Yahweh is near. It is near, and hurries greatly, the voice of the day of Yahweh. The mighty man cries there bitterly.That day is a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish, a day of trouble and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,a day of the trumpet and alarm, against the fortified cities, and against the high battlements.

For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?

For, behold, he who forms the mountains, and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought; who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth: Yahweh, the God of Armies, is his name.”

Yahweh, you have persuaded me, and I was persuaded. You are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I have become a laughingstock all day. Everyone mocks me.

Wolves will cry in their fortresses, and jackals in the pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, and her days will not be prolonged.

At evening, behold, terror! Before the morning, they are no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, and the lot of those who rob us.

When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying,“ Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.”

Then Yahweh rained on Sodom and on Gomorrah sulfur and fire from Yahweh out of the sky.
