Doom has come on you, inhabitants of the land. The time has come; the day is near. There will be panic on the mountains and not celebration.

斯土居民乎、為爾所定之報臨爾、其時已屆、其日伊邇、乃喧譁之日、非山上歡呼之日也、

爾民罹災、次第以及、爾之日期已屆、患難之日伊邇、山林之間、不聞歡樂之聲、

居斯地之民歟、所命之災已及爾、其時已屆、荒亂荒亂或作驚惶之日伊邇、山上無復歡呼、

Doom has come upon you, upon you who dwell in the land. The time has come! The day is near! There is panic, not joy, on the mountains.

Death has come on you who live in the land. The time for you to be destroyed has come. The day when it will happen is near. There is no joy on your mountains. There is nothing but panic.

Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. The time has come; the day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting on the mountains.

O people of Israel, the day of your destruction is dawning. The time has come; the day of trouble is near. Shouts of anguish will be heard on the mountains, not shouts of joy.

Thy doom is come unto thee, O inhabitant of the land: the time is come, the day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, upon the mountains.

The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble[ is] near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

Doom is coming upon you who live in the land! The time is coming, the day is near. There are sounds of tumult, not shouts of joy, on the mountains.

Therefore say to them: This is what the Lord God says: I will put a stop to this proverb, and they will not use it again in Israel. But say to them: The days draw near, as well as the fulfillment of every vision.For there will no longer be any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel.But I, Yahweh, will speak whatever message I will speak, and it will be done. It will no longer be delayed. For in your days, rebellious house, I will speak a message and bring it to pass.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

The time has come; the day has arrived. Let the buyer not rejoice and the seller not mourn, for wrath is on all her masses.

For the Lord God of Hosts had a day of tumult, trampling, and confusion in the Valley of Vision— people shouting and crying to the mountains;

Therefore say to them: This is what the Lord God says: None of My words will be delayed any longer. The message I speak will be fulfilled.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.

The great Day of the Lord is near, near and rapidly approaching. Listen, the Day of the Lord— then the warrior’s cry is bitter.That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of destruction and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,a day of trumpet blast and battle cry against the fortified cities, and against the high corner towers.

For the time has come for judgment to begin with God’s household, and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?

He is here: the One who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals His thoughts to man, the One who makes the dawn out of darkness and strides on the heights of the earth. Yahweh, the God of Hosts, is His name.

You deceived me, Lord, and I was deceived. You seized me and prevailed. I am a laughingstock all the time; everyone ridicules me.

Hyenas will howl in the fortresses, and jackals, in the luxurious palaces. Babylon’s time is almost up; her days are almost over.

In the evening— sudden terror! Before morning— it is gone! This is the fate of those who plunder us and the lot of those who ravage us.

At daybreak the angels urged Lot on:“ Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away in the punishment of the city.”

Then out of the sky the Lord rained burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah from the Lord.
