我之標識不得見、先知不復有、歷時幾何、我中無人知之兮、

七年五月十日、有以色列長老數人詣我、以諮諏耶和華、坐於我前、耶和華諭我曰、人子歟、謂以色列長老云、主耶和華曰、爾來諮諏於我乎、主耶和華曰、我指己生而誓、不聽爾之諮諏、

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒將與我戰、求爾為我詢於耶和華、或耶和華依其奇行待我、使彼離我而去、

是故禍患必臨爾、不知所由、災難必及爾、無以禳之、殄滅突來、難以逆料、

爾若仍不聽從、將懲爾罪、至於七倍、

彼詣爾所、如民來集、坐於爾前、若為我民、聽爾言而不行之、其口多顯仁愛、心則逐利、

我將以災積於其身、以我之矢、射之務盡、

主耶和華曰、時日將至、我必使饑饉臨於斯土、人之飢也、非因無糧無水、乃因未聽耶和華之言也、人必踉蹌而行、自此海至彼海、自北至東、疾趨往來、尋耶和華之言而不得、

六年六月五日、我坐於室、猶大長老、咸坐於前、主耶和華感我、

西底家王遣人攜先知耶利米、入耶和華室第三門覲王、王語之曰、我問爾一事、爾毋隱於我、耶利米對曰、我若告爾、爾豈不殺我乎、我若勸爾、爾必不聽、西底家王私與耶利米誓曰、我指肇造我魂、維生之耶和華而誓、必不殺爾、亦不付爾於索爾命者之手、耶利米曰、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、如爾出降於巴比倫王之牧伯、則可得生、斯邑不焚於火、爾及舉家、亦可生存、如爾不出降於巴比倫王之牧伯、是邑必付於迦勒底人手、焚之以火、爾亦不得脫於其手、西底家王謂耶利米曰、我恐迦勒底人、付我於投降之猶大人手、彼則侮我、耶利米曰、必不付爾、求爾循我所傳耶和華之命、爾則獲益、而存生命、如爾不出、耶和華有言示我曰、猶大王宮所遺之婦、必被攜出、至巴比倫王之牧伯、論爾曰、汝之良朋、誘爾而獲勝、見爾足陷於泥、則反而退焉、爾之妻孥、必被攜出、至迦勒底人、爾亦不得脫於其手、必為巴比倫王之手所擒、且使斯邑被焚、西底家語耶利米曰、斯言勿令人知、爾則不死、如牧伯聞我與汝言、而詣爾曰、爾與王所言、及王所語爾者、告我毋隱、我則不殺爾、爾當語之曰、我乃求王、勿使我復返約拿單之室、免死於彼、諸牧伯詣耶利米問之、彼循王所命以答、其事不洩、眾遂止、不與之言、耶利米處於護軍之院、迨至耶路撒冷被取之日、

爾尚頑梗、不欲順從、則按罪降災、至於七倍、

其門陷於地中、其楗折毀兮、君王牧伯、旅於無律之列邦兮、維彼先知、不得耶和華之啟示兮、

我必拂逆爾、緣爾之罪扑責爾、至於七倍、
