「倘若你們轉去丟棄我指示你們的律例誡命，去事奉敬拜別神，我就必將以色列人從我賜給他們的地上拔出根來，並且我為己名所分別為聖的殿也必捨棄不顧，使他在萬民中作笑談，被譏誚。

『你告訴以色列家，主耶和華如此說：我必使我的聖所，就是你們勢力所誇耀、眼裏所喜愛、心中所愛惜的被褻瀆，並且你們所遺留的兒女必倒在刀下。

將他們交在外邦人的手裏；恨他們的人就轄制他們。

我們的產業歸與外邦人；我們的房屋歸與外路人。

滅命的都來到曠野中一切淨光的高處；耶和華的刀從地這邊直到地那邊盡行殺滅。凡有血氣的都不得平安。
