I will bring the most wicked of nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the mighty, and their sanctuaries will be desecrated.

I will bring the most evil nations against them. They will take over the houses in the city. I will put an end to the pride of those who are mighty. Their holy places will be made“ unclean.”

I will bring the most ruthless of nations to occupy their homes. I will break down their proud fortresses and defile their sanctuaries.

所以我要使外族人，就是列国中最强横的人，来攻击你；他们要拔出刀来，攻击你用智慧得来的美物，玷污你的光彩。

我必使这地非常荒凉，它因势力而有的骄傲必止息；以色列的山都必荒凉，无人经过。

我必把我的忿怒倒在你身上，把我的怒火喷在你身上，又把你交在那些惯于毁灭的野蛮人手中。

他们的房屋、田地与妻子，都要一起转归别人；因为我要伸手，攻击这地的居民。”这是耶和华的宣告。

狮子从它的密林中上来了，毁坏列国的已经动身，从他的本处出发，为要使你的地荒凉，使你的城市破毁，无人居住。

故此，阴间扩张它的咽喉，张大它的口，没有限量；耶路撒冷城的荣耀（“荣耀”或译：“贵族”）、群众、喧嚷的人和在城中作乐的人，都要下到阴间。

“人子啊！你要面向耶路撒冷，向圣所发言，说预言攻击以色列地，

就是要兴起迦勒底人，那残忍凶暴的民；他们遍行全地，占领别人的家园。他们恐怖可怕，自以为义，趾高气扬。他们的马比豹更快，比晚上的豺狼更猛。他们的骑兵奔驰，自远而来；他们如鹰飞翔，迅速吞噬。他们定着脸面向前，齐来行暴，掳获战俘多如尘沙。他们戏弄君王，以掌权的为笑柄；他们嗤笑一切城堡，筑垒攻取；

“可是，如果你们转离我，丢弃我在你们面前颁布的律例和诫命，去事奉和敬拜别的神，我就必把以色列人从我赐给他们的土地上拔出来，并且我为自己的名分别为圣的这殿，我也必从我面前舍弃，使这殿在万民中成为笑谈和讥笑的对象。

他们曾说：“我们要得着神的牧场作自己的产业。”

‘你要告诉以色列家，主耶和华这样说：看哪！我必使我的圣所被亵渎，这圣所就是你们所夸耀的势力，眼所喜爱的，心中所爱惜的。你们遗下的儿女，都必倒在刀下。

把他们交在外族人的手里，恨恶他们的人就管辖他们。

我们的产业转归外人，我们的房屋归给异族。

在旷野一切光秃的高冈上，行毁灭的已经来到了；因为耶和华的刀。从地这边直到地那边，要吞灭一切；人人都没有平安。
