I will give their wealth as plunder to foreigners and as loot to the wicked of the earth, who will defile it.

上帝啊，外邦人侵犯你的產業，玷污你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷變成廢墟，

耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，把那些銅運到巴比倫去。他們又帶走鍋、鏟子、鉗子、勺子和供奉用的一切銅器；火盆和碗，無論金的銀的，護衛長都帶走了；還有所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根柱子、一個銅海和盆座，這一切器皿的銅多得無法可秤。

他焚燒了耶和華的殿、王宮和耶路撒冷的房屋；用火焚燒所有大戶人家的房屋。跟隨護衛長的迦勒底全軍拆毀了耶路撒冷四圍的城牆。那時尼布撒拉旦護衛長將百姓中最窮的和城裏所剩下的百姓，並那些投降巴比倫王的人，以及剩下的工匠，都擄去了。但尼布撒拉旦護衛長留下一些當地最窮的人，叫他們修整葡萄園，耕種田地。耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，把那些銅運到巴比倫去；他們又帶走鍋、鏟子、鉗子、盤子、勺子，和供奉用的一切銅器；杯、火盆、碗、鍋、燈臺、勺子、酒杯，無論金的銀的，護衛長都帶走了；還有所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根銅柱、一面銅海，並座下的十二隻銅牛，這些器皿的銅多得無法可秤至於柱子，這一根柱子高十八肘，厚四指，周圍十二肘，中間是空的；柱上有銅頂，每個銅頂高五肘；銅頂的周圍有網子和石榴，也都是銅的。另一根柱子與此相同，也有石榴。柱子四面有九十六個石榴，在網子周圍，總共有一百個石榴。

他把上帝殿裏一切的大小器皿與耶和華殿裏的財寶，以及王和眾領袖的財寶，全都帶到巴比倫去。迦勒底人焚燒了上帝的殿，拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，用火燒了城裏所有的宮殿，毀壞了城裏一切寶貴的器皿。
