我必將這殿交付外邦人為掠物，交付地上的惡人為擄物；他們也必褻瀆這殿。

I will give their wealth as plunder to foreigners and as loot to the wicked of the earth, who will defile it.

巴比倫王將耶和華殿和王宮裏的寶物都拿去了，將以色列王所羅門所造耶和華殿裏的金器都毀壞了，正如耶和華所說的；

求你記念你古時所得來的會眾，就是你所贖、作你產業支派的，並記念你向來所居住的錫安山。求你舉步去看那日久荒涼之地，仇敵在聖所中所行的一切惡事。你的敵人在你會中吼叫；他們豎了自己的旗為記號。他們好像人揚起斧子，砍伐林中的樹。聖所中一切雕刻的，他們現在用斧子錘子打壞了。他們用火焚燒你的聖所，褻瀆你名的居所，拆毀到地。他們心裏說：我們要盡行毀滅；他們就在遍地把神的會所都燒毀了。

用火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，又焚燒耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大戶家的房屋。

神啊，外邦人進入你的產業，污穢你的聖殿，使耶路撒冷變成荒堆，

耶和華殿的銅柱，並耶和華殿的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，將那銅運到巴比倫去了，又帶去鍋、鏟子、蠟剪、調羹，並所用的一切銅器，火鼎、碗，無論金的銀的，護衛長也都帶去了。所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根銅柱、一個銅海，和幾個盆座，這一切的銅，多得無法可稱。

用火焚燒耶和華的殿和王宮，又焚燒耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大戶家的房屋。跟從護衛長迦勒底的全軍就拆毀耶路撒冷四圍的城牆。那時護衛長尼布撒拉旦將民中最窮的和城裏所剩下的百姓，並已經投降巴比倫王的人，以及大眾所剩下的人，都擄去了。但護衛長尼布撒拉旦留下些民中最窮的，使他們修理葡萄園，耕種田地。耶和華殿的銅柱並殿內的盆座和銅海，迦勒底人都打碎了，將那銅運到巴比倫去了，又帶去鍋、鏟子、蠟剪、盤子、調羹，並所用的一切銅器、杯、火鼎、碗、盆、燈臺、調羹、爵，無論金的銀的，護衛長也都帶去了。所羅門為耶和華殿所造的兩根銅柱、一個銅海，並座下的十二隻銅牛，這一切的銅多得無法可稱。這一根柱子高十八肘，厚四指，是空的，圍十二肘。柱上有銅頂，高五肘；銅頂的周圍有網子和石榴，都是銅的。那一根柱子照此一樣，也有石榴。柱子四面有九十六個石榴，在網子周圍，共有一百石榴。

迦勒底王將神殿裏的大小器皿與耶和華殿裏的財寶，並王和眾首領的財寶，都帶到巴比倫去了。迦勒底人焚燒神的殿，拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆，用火燒了城裏的宮殿，毀壞了城裏寶貴的器皿。
