The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.And the porch that was before the house, the length of it, according to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and the height a hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.And the greater house he ceiled with fir- wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and wrought thereon palm- trees and chains.And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.He overlaid also the house, the beams, the thresholds, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubim on the walls.And he made the most holy house: the length thereof, according to the breadth of the house, was twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, The city of the great King.

therefore will I do unto the house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entrance of the house of Jehovah, by the chamber of Nathan- melech the chamberlain, which was in the precincts; and he burned the chariots of the sun with fire.And the altars that were on the roof of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of Jehovah, did the king break down, and beat them down from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.

even to prepare me timber in abundance; for the house which I am about to build shall be great and wonderful.

My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
