我既怒斯眾、雖吹角使戰、無人臨陣、

彼已吹角、妥備諸事、而無人臨陳、蓋我震怒及於斯眾也、

彼雖吹角、預備已全、已全或作以戰而無人出戰、因我怒及其眾、

“‘ They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.

They have blown trumpets. They have made everything ready. But no one will go into battle. I will soon pour out my great anger on the whole crowd.

“ They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but none goes to battle, for my wrath is upon all their multitude.

“ The trumpet calls Israel’s army to mobilize, but no one listens, for my fury is against them all.

播告猶大及耶路撒冷、人當吹角、召眾和會、群入城垣、

彼居心殘暴、勃然以興、責彼惡徒、所有群眾、靡有孑遺、哭之者迄無一人、日時伊邇、災及斯眾、購者毋庸喜、鬻者毋庸憂、

主耶和華曰、我必降災、斯邦之民、以及野獸、林木、田土所產、我怒甚烈、靡人遏止。

故我忿怒盈懷、不能復忍、必降災於逵衢之孩提、結黨之壯士、夫妻耆老、俱被俘囚。

當舉旌旆於斯土、吹角於民間、使列邦攻之、會集亞喇臘、米尼、亞實基拿人、立武夫長、使驍騎咸至、若蝗眾多。

禍自北至、毀傷特甚、爾便雅憫子孫、宜和集、出耶路撒冷、在提哥亞吹角、在伯哈西林舉烽火、

耶和華使斯土荒蕪、國家傾覆、居民離散、若庶人若祭司、若僕若主、若婢女、若主母、若鬻諸人、若購於人、若貸人以金、若借人之金、若得子母、若納子母者、俱必流離失所、斯地必為邱墟、刧掠殆盡、耶和華已言之矣。土地荒蕪、居民哀哭、位高者亦廢、民既犯法違例、爽其永約、故斯土咸染污衊、上帝降災、居民遭譴、如受火烙、存者無幾、葡萄之樹、枝葉全枯、新釀之酒、臭味俱變、昔之懽愉者、今則慨嘆、

曠野童山、寇賊已至、遍於四境、民罹鋒刃、被吞噬、不享綏安、我使之然。
