‘ They have blown the trumpet and made everyone ready, But no one goes to battle; For My wrath is on all their multitude.

『他們直吹號角，準備一切，卻沒有人去赴戰，因為我的烈怒已臨到所有的蜂擁羣眾。

彼已吹角、妥備諸事、而無人臨陳、蓋我震怒及於斯眾也、

我既怒斯眾、雖吹角使戰、無人臨陣、

彼雖吹角、預備已全、已全或作以戰而無人出戰、因我怒及其眾、

“‘ They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.

They have blown trumpets. They have made everything ready. But no one will go into battle. I will soon pour out my great anger on the whole crowd.

Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness; None of them shall remain, None of their multitude, None of them; Nor shall there be wailing for them.The time has come, The day draws near.‘ Let not the buyer rejoice, Nor the seller mourn, For wrath is on their whole multitude.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD:“ Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place— on man and on beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground. And it will burn and not be quenched.”

Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord. I am weary of holding it in.“ I will pour it out on the children outside, And on the assembly of young men together; For even the husband shall be taken with the wife, The aged with him who is full of days.

Set up a banner in the land, Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations against her, Call the kingdoms together against her: Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz. Appoint a general against her; Cause the horses to come up like the bristling locusts.

“ O you children of Benjamin, Gather yourselves to flee from the midst of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa, And set up a signal-fire in Beth Haccerem; For disaster appears out of the north, And great destruction.

Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants.And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; As with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor.The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word.The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish.The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant.Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left.The new wine fails, the vine languishes, All the merry-hearted sigh.

The plunderers have come On all the desolate heights in the wilderness, For the sword of the Lord shall devour From one end of the land to the other end of the land; No flesh shall have peace.
