『他們直吹號角，準備一切，卻沒有人去赴戰，因為我的烈怒已臨到所有的蜂擁羣眾。

彼已吹角、妥備諸事、而無人臨陳、蓋我震怒及於斯眾也、

我既怒斯眾、雖吹角使戰、無人臨陣、

彼雖吹角、預備已全、已全或作以戰而無人出戰、因我怒及其眾、

“‘ They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.

They have blown trumpets. They have made everything ready. But no one will go into battle. I will soon pour out my great anger on the whole crowd.

“ They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but none goes to battle, for my wrath is upon all their multitude.

“ The trumpet calls Israel’s army to mobilize, but no one listens, for my fury is against them all.

你們要在猶大宣告，要在耶路撒冷公布說：『要在境內吹號角，高聲呼叫說：「你們要聚集攏來，我們好進入有堡壘的城！」

強暴興起，成了邪惡之杖；他們之中沒有一樣存着；他們的羣眾沒有了，他們的財寶沒有了；他們中間也沒有出類拔萃之可言了。時候到了，日子近了。買的人不必歡喜，賣的人也不必憂愁，因為永恆主的烈怒已臨到所有的蜂擁羣眾。

因此主永恆主這麼說：看吧，我的怒氣我的烈怒必倒在這地方、倒在人和牲口身上、倒在田野的樹木和地土的果實上；怒火必着起來，不能熄滅。』

因此我充滿了永恆主的烈怒，我含忍得膩了。『我要向街上的孩童和聚在一處的青年團身上倒去了；他們連夫帶妻、年老的跟歲數滿足的必都被捉拿。

『你們要在境內豎起旌旗。在列邦中吹號角，使列邦行聖禮備戰來攻擊巴比倫，將亞拉臘、米尼、亞實基拿這些國召集來攻擊她；又派大元帥來擊打她，使馬匹上來像翅膀林立的蝻子。

便雅憫人哪，從耶路撒冷城中逃出來避難哦！要在提哥亞吹號角，在伯哈基琳豎立警報；因為有災禍與大破毁從北方張望下來。

看吧，永恆主必將大地弄空，使它變為荒蕪；他必扭歪地的面貌，使它的居民四散。那時人民怎樣，祭司也必怎樣；僕人怎樣，主人也必怎樣；婢女怎樣，主母也必怎樣；買物的怎樣，賣物的也必怎樣；借給人的怎樣，向人借的也必怎樣；放債的怎樣，借債的也必怎樣。大地必被弄到空空，世界必被掠劫到掠劫淨盡：因為這話是永恆主說的。大地悲哀凋殘，世界衰敗凋殘，高天與大地一同衰敗。大地在它居民之下被沾污，因為他們越犯了律法，違背了律例，違犯了永遠的約。因此大地被咒詛所吞滅，上頭的居民擔受了罪罰；因此地上的居民被燒焦，剩下的人很少。新酒悲哀，葡萄樹衰殘，心中歡樂的盡都歎息。

在野地裏一切無草木的高處上有毁滅者來到；因為永恆主的刀從地這邊到地那邊進行着吞滅之事呢；凡有血肉的沒有一個得平安。
