彼已吹角、妥備諸事、而無人臨陳、蓋我震怒及於斯眾也、

我既怒斯眾、雖吹角使戰、無人臨陣、

彼雖吹角、預備已全、已全或作以戰而無人出戰、因我怒及其眾、

“‘ They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.

They have blown trumpets. They have made everything ready. But no one will go into battle. I will soon pour out my great anger on the whole crowd.

“ They have blown the trumpet and made everything ready, but none goes to battle, for my wrath is upon all their multitude.

“ The trumpet calls Israel’s army to mobilize, but no one listens, for my fury is against them all.

“你們應當在猶大宣告，在耶路撒冷傳揚，說：‘要在境內吹號。’高聲呼叫，說：‘你們要集合起來，我們要進到堅固的城裡去！’

強暴興起，成了懲罰邪惡的杖，他們無一存留，他們的群眾都不在了。他們的財富沒有了，他們中間也沒有尊榮。時候到了，日子近了，買的不必歡喜，賣的不用憂愁；因為烈怒要臨到眾人身上。

因此，主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我的怒氣和忿怒，必倒在這地方，也必倒在人口、牲畜、田野的樹木和地的出產上；怒火燒起，不能熄滅。”

因此，我心裡充滿耶和華的忿怒，無法容忍。“你要把我的忿怒向街上的孩童傾倒，又傾在聯群集結的年輕人身上。夫妻一起被捉住，年老的、壽高的也不例外。

“你們要在地上豎起旗幟，在列國中吹號角，使列國作好準備攻擊巴比倫，把亞拉臘、米尼、亞實基拿等國召來攻擊她，又指派元帥來攻擊她，使馬匹像蝗蟲洶湧上來。

“便雅憫人哪！趕快逃命，離開耶路撒冷。你們要在提哥亞吹角，在伯．哈基琳升烽火；因為災禍和嚴重的毀滅，已從北方迫近。

看哪！耶和華使大地空虛，變為荒涼；他必翻轉地面，使地上的居民四散。人民和祭司，僕人和主人，婢女和主母，購買的和販賣的，借給人和向人借的，放債的和借債的，全都一樣被分散。大地必完全倒空，被劫掠淨盡，這話是耶和華說的。大地悲哀衰殘，世界零落衰殘，地上居高位的人也衰敗了。大地被其上的居民玷污，因為他們犯了律法，違了律例，背了永遠的約。因此，大地被咒詛吞滅，地上的居民要承擔懲罰。因此，地上的居民被焚燒，剩下的人很少。新酒悲哀，葡萄樹衰殘，心中歡樂的，變為歎息。

在曠野一切光禿的高岡上，行毀滅的已經來到了；因為耶和華的刀。從地這邊直到地那邊，要吞滅一切；人人都沒有平安。
