彼已吹角、妥備諸事、而無人臨陳、蓋我震怒及於斯眾也、

我既怒斯眾、雖吹角使戰、無人臨陣、

彼雖吹角、預備已全、已全或作以戰而無人出戰、因我怒及其眾、

“‘ They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.

「你們要在猶大和耶路撒冷宣告，『要在全國吹起號角』，高聲呼喊，『要集合起來，我們要逃進堅城。』

暴行成了懲罰邪惡的杖，以色列人必沒有一個能夠存留，他們的財富和尊榮必不復存在。時候到了，日子近了，買主不要歡樂，賣主也不要憂愁，因為烈怒臨到了所有的人。

主耶和華說，『我要向這地方的人、牲畜、田野的樹木和地裡的出產發怒，發烈怒，如無法熄滅的火。』」

耶和華啊，我怒你所怒，無法容忍。耶和華說：「你把我的怒氣發向街頭的孩童和聚集成群的青年。丈夫、妻子和老人都要一同被擄。

「要在大地上豎起旌旗，在列國吹響號角，讓他們預備攻打巴比倫。要召集亞拉臘人、米尼人、亞實基拿人，使他們派遣將領率騎兵如蝗蟲一樣鋪天蓋地而來，攻打巴比倫。

「便雅憫人啊，你們要逃離耶路撒冷！你們要在提哥亞吹響號角，在伯·哈基琳發出警報，因為有大災難從北方逼近。

看啊，耶和華必摧毀大地，使大地荒涼。祂毀壞地面，驅散萬民。那時，祭司和百姓，主人和僕人，主母和婢女，買的和賣的，貸的和借的，債主和債戶都必同遭厄運。大地必完全毀壞，一片荒涼。這是耶和華說的。大地必衰殘枯乾，世界必衰敗荒涼，世上的權貴也必敗落。大地被世人玷污，他們違犯律法，不守律例，背棄永遠的約。所以大地必遭受咒詛，世人必因罪而受懲罰。他們必被焚燒，所剩無幾。葡萄樹枯萎，新酒停產，歡樂的人都發出悲歎。

殺戮者已來到曠野中光禿的山嶺，耶和華使刀劍橫掃全境，無人倖免。
