LORD, you threatened that this would happen. Now you can see that it is already taking place.The city is sure to fall into the hands of the Babylonians. Yet, in spite of this, you, Lord GOD, have said to me,“ Buy that field with silver and have the transaction legally witnessed.”’”

Look, the LORD is ready to devastate the earth and leave it in ruins; he will mar its surface and scatter its inhabitants.Everyone will suffer– the priest as well as the people, the master as well as the servant, the elegant lady as well as the female attendant, the seller as well as the buyer, the borrower as well as the lender, the creditor as well as the debtor.

The customer will no longer pay the seller while both parties are alive, for the vision against their whole crowd will not be revoked. Each person, for his iniquity, will fail to preserve his life.“ They have blown the trumpet and everyone is ready, but no one goes to battle, because my anger is against their whole crowd.
