你们的祭坛要荒废，香坛必打碎。我要使你们当中被杀的人仆倒在你们的偶像面前，

你們的祭壇必然荒涼，你們的日像必被打碎。我要使你們被殺的人倒在你們的偶像面前；

荒爾祭壇、碎爾日像、使爾被殺者、仆於爾偶像之前、

傾爾祭壇、毀爾偶像、殺以色列族、偶像之前、尸相枕藉、祭壇四周、骨骸散棄、

爾之祭壇必傾圮、爾之日像必毀折、我使爾被殺者仆於爾之偶像前、

Your altars will be demolished and your incense altars will be smashed; and I will slay your people in front of your idols.

Your altars will be torn down. Your incense altars will be smashed. And I will kill your people in front of the statues of your gods.

Your altars shall become desolate, and your incense altars shall be broken, and I will cast down your slain before your idols.

又在犹大各城镇除掉丘坛和香坛。在他治理下，国中太平。

我要摧毁你们的丘坛，砍掉你们的香坛，把你们的尸首扔在你们偶像的残骸上。我的心也必厌恶你们，

神人遵照耶和华的话向坛呼叫，说：“坛哪，坛哪！耶和华如此说：‘看哪，大卫家必生一个儿子，名叫约西亚，他必将在你上面烧香的丘坛祭司，宰杀在你上面，人的骨头也必烧在你上面。’”

被杀的要仆倒在祭坛四围的偶像中，在各高冈、各山顶、各青翠的树下，和各茂密的橡树下，就是他们献馨香的祭给一切偶像的地方。那时，他们就知道我是耶和华。

将以色列人的尸首放在他们的偶像面前，把你们的骸骨抛散在祭坛的四周围。无论你们住在何处，城镇要变为废墟，丘坛也必毁坏，以至于你们的祭坛荒废，被定罪，偶像打碎消除，香坛砍倒；你们所做的被涂去。

耶和华说：“那时，人必将犹大诸王和领袖的骸骨、祭司和先知的骸骨，以及耶路撒冷居民的骸骨，都从坟墓中取出来，散布在太阳、月亮和天上众星之下，就是他们从前所喜爱、所事奉、所随从、所求问、所敬拜的。这些骸骨不被收殓，不被埋葬，必在地面上成为粪土。

约西亚转头，看见山上的坟墓，就派人取出坟墓里的骸骨，烧在坛上，玷污了坛，正如从前耶罗波安在节期中站在坛旁时，耶和华藉神人所宣告的话。约西亚转头看见了宣告这些话的神人的坟墓。他说：“我看见的这碑是什么呢？”那城里的人对他说：“这是神人的坟墓，他从犹大来，宣告了王向伯特利的坛所做的这些事。”约西亚说：“让他安息吧！不要挪移他的骸骨。”他们就保存了他的骸骨和从撒玛利亚来的那先知的骸骨。从前以色列诸王在撒玛利亚的城镇所建一切惹动怒气的丘坛的庙，约西亚也都废去了，正如他在伯特利所做的。他又把在那里所有丘坛的祭司都杀在坛上，并在坛上烧人的骨头。于是他回耶路撒冷去了。

又打碎柱像，砍下亚舍拉，用人的骨头填满那地方。

众人在他面前拆毁诸巴力的坛，砍断坛上高高的香坛，又把亚舍拉和雕刻的像，以及铸造的像打碎成灰，撒在向偶像献祭之人的坟上，把祭司的骸骨烧在他们的坛上，洁净了犹大和耶路撒冷。

他必打碎埃及地伯‧示麦的柱像，用火焚烧埃及众神明的庙宇。’”
