You will all know that I am the LORD when their slain lie among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, and under every green tree and every leafy oak— the places where they offered pleasing aromas to all their idols.

他們被刺死的人倒在他們祭壇的四圍、他們的偶像中間，在各高岡各山頂上、各茂盛樹下、各茂密聖篤耨香樹之下，他們獻怡神之香氣給一切偶像的地方；那時他們就知道我乃是永恆主。

在諸高岡山巔、綠樹茂橡之下、即昔獻馨香於偶像之所、有被殺者在壇四周之偶像中、爾則知我乃耶和華、

爰在高岡之巔、茂林之下、祭壇之側、昔焚香祭偶之所、惟見尸骸與偶像、共相枕藉、以是可知我乃耶和華、

我使其屍偃仆在其偶像中、在其祭壇四周、在各高山、各山巔、各綠樹下、各茂盛橡樹下、即焚香事其諸偶像各處、其時彼則知我乃主、

And they will know that I am the Lord, when their people lie slain among their idols around their altars, on every high hill and on all the mountaintops, under every spreading tree and every leafy oak— places where they offered fragrant incense to all their idols.

Then they will know that I am the Lord. Their people will lie dead among the statues of their gods around their altars. Their bodies will lie on every high hill and every mountaintop. They will lie under every green tree and leafy oak tree. They used to offer sweet- smelling incense to all their gods at those places.

And you shall know that I am the Lord, when their slain lie among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, under every green tree, and under every leafy oak, wherever they offered pleasing aroma to all their idols.

They will know that I am the Lord when their dead lie scattered among their idols and altars on every hill and mountain and under every green tree and every great shade tree— the places where they offered sacrifices to their idols.

Then you will know that I am the Lord, when their dead are among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, under every leafy tree and under every massive oak with thick branches— the places where they offered a soothing aroma to all their idols.

Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when their slain are among their idols all around their altars, on every high hill, on all the mountaintops, under every green tree, and under every thick oak, wherever they offered sweet incense to all their idols.

And ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the places where they offered sweet savor to all their idols.

Then shall ye know that I[ am] the LORD, when their slain[ men] shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

When I brought them into the land that I swore to give them and they saw any high hill or leafy tree, they offered their sacrifices and presented their offensive offerings there. They also sent up their pleasing aromas and poured out their drink offerings there.

They sacrifice on the mountaintops, and they burn offerings on the hills, and under oaks, poplars, and terebinths, because their shade is pleasant. And so your daughters act promiscuously and your daughters-in-law commit adultery.

For long ago I broke your yoke; I tore off your chains. You insisted,“ I will not serve!” On every high hill and under every green tree you lay down like a prostitute.

They also built for themselves high places, sacred pillars, and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree;

Your altars will be desolated and your shrines smashed. I will throw down your slain in front of your idols.I will lay the corpses of the Israelites in front of their idols and scatter your bones around your altars.Wherever you live the cities will be in ruins and the high places will be desolate, so that your altars will lie in ruins and be desecrated, your idols smashed and obliterated, your shrines cut down, and what you have made wiped out.The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am the LORD.

He sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills, and under every green tree.

who burn with lust among the oaks, under every green tree, who slaughter children in the wadis below the clefts of the rocks?Your portion is among the smooth stones of the wadi; indeed, they are your lot. You have even poured out a drink offering to them; you have offered a grain offering; should I be satisfied with these?You have placed your bed on a high and lofty mountain; you also went up there to offer sacrifice.

Indeed, they will be ashamed of the sacred trees you desired, and you will be embarrassed because of the garden shrines you have chosen.

Then the angel of the LORD went out and struck down one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. “ Those who dedicate and purify themselves to enter the groves following their leader, eating meat from pigs, vermin, and rats, will perish together.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

These people continually anger me to my face, sacrificing in gardens, burning incense on bricks,sitting among the graves, spending nights in secret places, eating the meat of pigs, and putting polluted broth in their bowls.

Now, LORD our God, save us from his power so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, LORD, are God— you alone.

In the days of King Josiah the LORD asked me,“ Have you seen what unfaithful Israel has done? She has ascended every high hill and gone under every green tree to prostitute herself there.
