我之律例法度、彼不遵從、而反作惡、較列邦尤甚、

彼背逆我之法度、作惡甚於列國、背逆我之律例、甚於四周之異邦、因棄我之法度、不遵我之律例、

Yet in her wickedness she has rebelled against my laws and decrees more than the nations and countries around her. She has rejected my laws and has not followed my decrees.

But its people are sinful. They have refused to obey my laws and rules. They have turned their backs on my laws. They have not followed my rules. These people are worse than the nations and countries around them.”

And she has rebelled against my rules by doing wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries all around her; for they have rejected my rules and have not walked in my statutes.

but she has rebelled against my regulations and decrees and has been even more wicked than the surrounding nations. She has refused to obey the regulations and decrees I gave her to follow.

Then she defied my regulations and my statutes, becoming more wicked than the nations and the countries around her. Indeed, they have rejected my regulations, and they do not follow my statutes.

She has rebelled against my ordinances in doing wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries that are around her; for they have rejected my ordinances, and as for my statutes, they have not walked in them.’

他們回到他們祖先所犯的罪孽中。他們的祖先不肯聽從我的話，卻隨從事奉別的神。以色列家和猶大家都違犯了我和他們列祖所立的約。”

但是我們的列祖狂妄自大，硬著頸項，不聽從你的命令。他們拒絕聽從，也不記念你在他們中間所行的奇事，硬著頸項，存心悖逆，自立首領，要回到他們為奴之地去。但你是樂意饒恕的神，你有恩典，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，並有豐盛的慈愛，所以你沒有撇棄他們。

但他們不肯聽從，反而硬著頸項，充耳不聞（“反而硬著頸項，充耳不聞”直譯是“轉着固執的肩膊，使自己的耳朵發沉不聽”）。

他們隨從耶和華從以色列人面前驅逐的外族人的風俗，以及以色列諸王奉行的風俗。以色列人暗中做了不對的事，違背耶和華他們的神，並且在他們所有的城市，從哨站到設防城，為他們自己建築邱壇。又在各高山頂上和每一棵青翠的樹下豎立神柱和亞舍拉。他們在各邱壇上獻祭和焚香，好像耶和華從他們的面前擄去的外族人一樣，又行惡事，使耶和華發怒。他們又服事雕刻的偶像，耶和華曾警告他們不可以行這事。耶和華曾藉著他的眾先知和先見警告以色列人和猶大人說：“從你們的惡道上轉回吧！謹守我的吩咐和我的律例，就是我曾吩咐你們的祖先，和藉著我的僕人眾先知傳遞給你們的一切律法。”可是他們不聽從，反而硬著自己的頸項，好像他們的祖先，不信服耶和華他們的神；厭棄他的律例和他與他們的祖先訂立的約，以及他對他們的警戒；卻信從虛無的神，自己成為虛妄，跟從他們周圍的外族人，耶和華曾吩咐他們不可跟從他們的行為。他們丟棄耶和華他們神的一切吩咐，為自己做了兩個牛犢的鑄像，又做亞舍拉，並且敬拜天上的萬象和服事巴力；他們又把兒女用火燒為祭，並且占卜，行法術，出賣自己去行耶和華看為惡的事，使他發怒。於是耶和華向以色列人大大發怒，把他們從自己面前趕走，只剩下猶大一個支派。連猶大人也不持守耶和華他們的神的吩咐，隨從以色列人所行的習俗。耶和華就厭棄以色列人的後裔，使他們受苦，把他們交在搶掠他們的人的手中，直到把他們從自己的面前完全丟棄。

你不但行她們所行的，作她們所作的可憎之事，而且你還以那些事為小，你一切所行的比她們更壞。我指著我的永生起誓，你的妹妹所多瑪和她的女兒們，都沒有行過像你和你女兒們所行的事。這是主耶和華的宣告。

這人民為甚麼背道，耶路撒冷為甚麼長久偏離？他們定意行詭詐，不肯回轉。

他們不謹守神的約，不肯遵行他的律法。

聽說你們中間竟然有淫亂的事，這樣的淫亂在教外人中間都沒有，就是有人和他的繼母同居。

這樣，他們用吃草的牛的像，代替了他們的榮耀的神。

因為有人已經混進你們中間，他們就是早被判定受刑的不敬虔的人。這些人把我們神的恩典當作放縱情慾的藉口，並且否認獨一的主宰我們的主耶穌基督。

耶和華啊！你的眼目不是要看誠實的事嗎？你擊打他們，他們卻不覺得傷痛；你摧毀他們，他們仍不肯接受管教。他們板著臉，臉皮比磐石還硬，總不肯回轉。

撒瑪利亞所犯的罪還不及你所犯的一半；你所行的可憎之事比她更多，以致你的姊妹因你所行的一切可憎之事而顯為義。

但耶書崙肥胖了，就踢跳，‘你肥胖了，你粗壯了，你飽滿了，’他離棄了造他的神，輕看了救他的磐石。他們以外族人的神激動了神的憤恨，以可憎之事惹起了他的怒氣。他們獻祭給鬼魔（他們不是神），就是他們從來不認識的神，是近來新興的，是你們的列祖所不懼怕的。你輕忽了生你的磐石，你忘記了產你的神。因為他的兒女激怒了神，耶和華看見了，就棄絕了他們，說：‘我必掩面不顧他們，要看看他們的結局怎樣；因為他們是乖曲的一代，心裡沒有信實的人。他們以不是神的神激動了我的憤恨，以虛無之物惹動了我的怒氣；我也以不是子民的人激動他們的憤恨，以愚昧的國民惹動他們的怒氣。

他們用必朽壞的人、飛禽、走獸和昆蟲的形象，取代了永不朽壞的神的榮耀。因此，神就任憑他們順著心中的私慾去作污穢的事，以致羞辱自己的身體。他們用虛謊取代了神的真理，敬拜事奉受造之物，卻不敬拜事奉造物的主。他是永遠可稱頌的，阿們。

欺凌加上欺凌，詭詐加上詭詐（按照《馬索拉文本》，“欺凌加上欺凌，詭詐加上詭詐”作“你的住所在詭詐中；在詭詐裡”；現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯），他們不肯認識我。”這是耶和華的宣告。
