When the days of your siege come to an end, burn a third of the hair inside the city. Take a third and strike it with the sword all around the city. And scatter a third to the wind. For I will pursue them with drawn sword.

Burn up a third of the hair inside the city. Do this when you stop attacking the model of Jerusalem. Next, get another third of the hair. Strike it with a sword all around the city. Then scatter the last third to the winds. That is because I will chase the people with a sword that is ready to strike them down.

「人子啊，你要拿一塊磚，擺在你面前，將一座耶路撒冷城畫在其上，又圍困這城，造臺築壘，安營攻擊，在四圍安設撞錘攻城，又要拿個鐵鏊，放在你和城的中間，作為鐵牆。你要對面攻擊這城，使城被困；這樣，好作以色列家的預兆。「你要向左側臥，承當以色列家的罪孽；要按你向左側臥的日數，擔當他們的罪孽。因為我已將他們作孽的年數定為你向左側臥的日數，就是三百九十日，你要這樣擔當以色列家的罪孽。再者，你滿了這些日子，還要向右側臥，擔當猶大家的罪孽。我給你定規側臥四十日，一日頂一年。你要露出膀臂，面向被困的耶路撒冷，說預言攻擊這城。我用繩索捆綁你，使你不能輾轉，直等你滿了困城的日子。

他們問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你便告訴他們，耶和華如此說：定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必交刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。」

因為死亡上來，進了我們的窗戶，入了我們的宮殿；要從外邊剪除孩童，從街上剪除少年人。你當說，耶和華如此說：人的屍首必倒在田野像糞土，又像收割的人遺落的一把禾稼，無人收取。

他們雖然挖透陰間，我的手必取出他們來；雖然爬上天去，我必拿下他們來；雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必搜尋，捉出他們來；雖然從我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他們；

我必使刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫臨到他們，直到他們從我所賜給他們和他們列祖之地滅絕。」

「耶和華如此說：住在這城裏的必遭刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫而死；但出去歸降迦勒底人的必得存活，就是以自己命為掠物的，必得存活。
