I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will leave you childless. Plague and bloodshed will sweep through you, and I will bring the sword against you. I the Lord have spoken.”

I will send hunger and wild animals against you. They will destroy all your children. Plague and murder will sweep over you. And I will send swords to kill you. I have spoken. I am the Lord.”

I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will rob you of your children. Pestilence and blood shall pass through you, and I will bring the sword upon you. I am the Lord; I have spoken.”

And along with the famine, wild animals will attack you and rob you of your children. Disease and war will stalk your land, and I will bring the sword of the enemy against you. I, the Lord, have spoken!”

我必罰之、以疫癘與鋒刃、以暴雨與大雹、我且使火與硫磺雨於彼與其軍隊、並助之之多邦民族、

始居之時、斯民不敬畏主、故主使獅至其中、噬斃其人、

主天主如是云、我使四暴災降於耶路撒冷、即鋒刃、饑饉、猛獸、疫癘、於其中絕人與畜、其害豈非尤重乎、

我必使野獸入爾境、吞爾子女、噬爾牲畜、使爾人數寡少、致道路荒涼、

如我使猛獸侵其國、吞噬人民、使地荒蕪、因獸無人經過、

使其受饑而體瘦、見消於熱疫毒癘、使野獸之齒害之、腹行者之毒傷之、

爾以西結當如是告之曰、主天主如是云、我指己永生而誓、惟彼居荒墟者、必殞亡於刃、凡在郊野者、我必使之為獸所食、凡在鞏固之城及洞穴者、必死於疫癘、

我必涸其諸河、以其國付惡人之手、藉外邦人毀壞斯地與其中人物、我耶和華已言之矣、

眾必擊之以石、戮之以刃、殺其子女、以火焚其宅第、

爾民三分之一、必死於疫癘、亡於饑饉在爾中、三分之一、必殞於鋒刃在爾四圍、三分之一、我必散之四方、我亦拔刃追襲於後、我怒盡發、以我之烈忿、加於其身、以我之烈忿加於其身或作降災其身以雪我忿則我心覺慰、我發盡我之烈忿、加於其身、彼則知我耶和華言之、乃因忌邪忌邪或作熱中而言也、

火必燬爾若薪、爾血必流於斯地、人不復憶爾、蓋我耶和華已言之矣、

我發烈怒盛忿、降災於爾、大震忿怒譴責爾、爾四周之鄰邦、必詬詈爾、譏刺爾、以爾之事為警戒、為怪異、我耶和華已言之矣、

我必與彼立平康之約、驅猛獸於斯地、使之安居郊野、偃臥林中、我必降福於彼、必於我山岡四周、使之享福、使雨隨時而降、有甘霖加福、田之樹必結其果、地必產其物、使彼安居故土、我折其軛、救之於役之者手、斯時彼則知我乃主、不復為異邦人所刧掠、野獸所吞噬、必得安居、無人驚駭、

主又曰、我為之命定四災、刃以殺之、犬以囓之、飛鳥以噬之、野獸以滅之、

其軍中逃遁者必殞於鋒刃、所遺者必分散四方、爾曹則知我耶和華已言之矣、○

告以色列地曰、主天主如是云、我必臨爾降罰、拔刃出鞘、善者惡者、盡將翦滅於爾中、

遠者必死於疫癘、近者必殞於鋒刃、其餘被困者、必死於饑饉、如是、我盡發我怒、加於其身、

惟不盡逐之在一年之內、恐土地荒蕪、野獸眾多以害爾、

我必以我神賦爾、使爾復生、必使爾安居故土、爾則知我耶和華、既言之、亦成之、此乃主所言、○

天地可廢、我言不廢、

我必使爾為光潔之磬、曬網之所、不得復建、因我耶和華已言之矣、此乃主天主所言、

如我降疫癘於其國、發洩我之盛忿、盡行誅殺、盡行誅殺或作使其中有殺人流血之事致人與畜絕於其中、

郊原諸樹、必知我耶和華能使高木為低、低木為高、青木為枯、枯木復茂、我耶和華既言之、亦必行之、

我罰爾之日至、爾心豈不怯乎、爾手豈不疲乎、我耶和華既言必成、
