A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.

A third of your people will die of the plague inside your walls. Or they will die of hunger there. Another third will be killed by swords outside your walls. And I will scatter the last third of your people to the winds. I will chase them with a sword that is ready to strike them down.

A third part of you shall die of pestilence and be consumed with famine in your midst; a third part shall fall by the sword all around you; and a third part I will scatter to all the winds and will unsheathe the sword after them.

对他们说：‘万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：看哪，我必召我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒前来，安置他的宝座在所藏的这些石头上；他要在其上支搭华丽的帐幕。他要来攻击埃及地：定为死亡的，必致死亡；定为掳掠的，必遭掳掠；定为刀杀的，必被刀杀。

住在这城里的必遭刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫而死；但出去投降围困你们之迦勒底人的必得存活，保全自己的性命。

“主耶和华如此说：你当击掌顿足，说：哀哉！以色列家做了这一切可憎的恶事，必仆倒在刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫之下。在远方的，必遭瘟疫而死；在近处的，必倒在刀剑之下；那存留被围困的，必因饥荒而死；我要在他们身上发尽我的愤怒。

在你中间，父亲要吃儿子，儿子要吃父亲。我必向你施行审判，将你剩下的人分散四方。

看哪，我看守他们，为要降祸不降福；在埃及地的犹大人必因刀剑、饥荒而灭亡，直到灭绝。

在那些国中，你必得不到安宁，脚掌也没有安歇之处；耶和华却要使你在那里心中发颤，眼目失明，精神沮丧。

我要把他们分散在他们和他们祖宗所不认识的列国；我也要使刀剑追杀他们，直到将他们灭尽。”

虽然被仇敌掳去，我也必在那里命令刀剑杀戮他们；我必定睛在他们身上，降祸不降福。”

我要令饥荒和恶兽临到你，使你丧失儿女。瘟疫和流血的事必在你那里盛行，我也要使刀剑临到你。这是我—耶和华说的。”

现在你们要确实知道，你们在所要去的寄居之地必遭刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫而死。”

我必以旋风将他们吹散到素不认识的万国中。他们离开以后，地就荒凉，无人来往经过；他们使美好之地荒凉了。”

“我必留下一些人，你们中有人得以在列国中脱离刀剑，分散在列邦。

万军之耶和华说：刀剑哪，兴起攻击我的牧人，攻击我的同伴吧！要击打牧人，羊就分散了；我必反手攻击那微小的。这全地的人，三分之二将被剪除而死，三分之一仍必存留。这是耶和华说的。我要使这三分之一经过火，熬炼他们，如熬炼银子；试炼他们，如试炼金子。他们要求告我的名，我必应允他们。我说：“这是我的子民。”他们要说：“耶和华是我的上帝。”

我要把你们驱散到列国中，也要拔刀追赶你们。你们的地要成为荒凉，你们的城镇要变成废墟。

你们所惧怕的刀剑在埃及地必追上你们，你们所惧怕的饥荒在埃及要紧紧跟随你们，你们必死在那里。凡定意进入埃及在那里寄居的，必遭刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫而死，无一人存留，得以逃脱我所降与他们的灾祸。’
