A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.

A third of your people will die of the plague inside your walls. Or they will die of hunger there. Another third will be killed by swords outside your walls. And I will scatter the last third of your people to the winds. I will chase them with a sword that is ready to strike them down.

A third part of you shall die of pestilence and be consumed with famine in your midst; a third part shall fall by the sword all around you; and a third part I will scatter to all the winds and will unsheathe the sword after them.

围困这城的日子满了，你要拿须发的三分之一在城中用火烧掉，又拿三分之一在城的周围用刀剁碎，三分之一撒在风中，我还要拔刀追赶它们。

如果他们问你：‘我们要去哪里？’你就告诉他们：‘耶和华这样说：该死亡的，就死亡；该被刀剑所杀的，就被刀剑所杀；该遭遇饥荒的，就遭遇饥荒；该被掳的，就被掳去！’

我要把他周围所有的人，就是所有帮助他的和他所有的军队，分散到四方去，也要拔出刀来追赶他们。

然后对他们说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：看哪！我要派人去领我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来；我要在我所埋藏的这些石头上安设他的王位；他必在上面张开他的帐篷。他必来攻打埃及地；那些注定死亡的，必要死亡；那些注定被掳的，必要被掳；那些注定被刀杀的，必被刀杀。

凡留在这城里的，必因刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫而死；但出去向围困你们的迦勒底人投降的，必可以活着，捡回自己的性命。

主耶和华这样说：“你要拍手顿足，说：‘哀哉！因以色列家一切可憎的恶事，他们必倒在刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫之下。’在远处的必因瘟疫死亡，在近处的必倒在刀剑之下，那余下被围困的也必因饥荒死亡。我必这样在他们身上完全发尽我的烈怒。

因此，在你中间，父亲要吃儿子，儿子要吃父亲。我要向你施行审判，把你余剩的众人分散到四方去。

看哪！我要留意向他们降祸不降福；在埃及地所有的犹大人都必因刀剑和饥荒灭亡，直到灭绝。

在那些国中，你必不得安息，也没有脚掌歇息的地方；耶和华却必使你在那里心中发颤，眼目憔悴，精神颓废。

我要把他们分散在列国中，就是他们和他们的列祖都不认识的列国；我要使刀剑追杀他们，直到把他们灭绝。”

如果他们被仇敌掳去，就是在那里，我必命令刀剑杀死他们；我必定睛在他们身上，降祸不降福。”

我要差遣饥荒和恶兽到你们那里去，使你丧掉儿女；在你中间必到处发生瘟疫和流血的事；我也必使刀剑临到你。这是我耶和华说的。”

现在你们要确实知道，在你们想去寄居的那地方，你们必因刀剑、饥荒和瘟疫而死。”

我用旋风把他们吹散到他们不认识的列国去，他们留下的地就荒凉了，以致无人来往经过，因为他们使这美好之地变为荒凉了。”

“‘但我要保留一些余剩的人，你们分散在各地的时候，你们必有人在列国中从刀剑下逃出来。

“刀剑哪，醒来吧！攻击我的牧人，我的同伴，（这是万军之耶和华的宣告。）要击打牧人，羊群就分散；我也要转过手来，攻击小羊。全地的人必有三分之二被除灭，只有三分之一存留下来。（这是耶和华的宣告。）我必使这三分之一经火试炼。我要炼净他们，像炼净银子一样；我要试炼他们，像试炼金子一样。他们必呼求我的名，我必应允他们。我要说：‘他们是我的子民。’他们也要说：‘耶和华是我们的神。’”

我要把你们分散在万国中，我又拔出刀来追赶你们；你们的地成为荒凉，你们的城市变成荒场。

你们惧怕的刀剑必在埃及地追上你们；你们恐惧的饥荒必在埃及紧随着你们；你们必死在那里。所有决意去埃及，在那里寄居的人，必因刀剑、饥荒和瘟疫而死；他们没有一人能幸存，或避过我降在他们身上的灾祸。’
