Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and Beth- hoglah, and Emek- keziz,and Beth- arabah, and Zemaraim, and Beth- el,and Avvim, and Parah, and Ophrah,and Chephar- ammoni, and Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages:Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,and Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,and Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,and Zelah, Eleph, and the Jebusite( the same is Jerusalem), Gibeath, and Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.

Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar- enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath( and they shall have their sides east and west), Dan, one portion.And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, Asher, one portion.And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, Naphtali, one portion.And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, Manasseh, one portion.And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side unto the west side, Ephraim, one portion.And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even unto the west side, Reuben, one portion.And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, Judah, one portion.

And they journeyed from Beth- el; and there was still some distance to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labor.And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; for now thou shalt have another son.And it came to pass, as her soul was departing( for she died), that she called his name Ben- oni: but his father called him Benjamin.And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath( the same is Beth- lehem).
