“ The remaining area, 5,000 cubits wide and 25,000 cubits long, will be for the common use of the city, for houses and for pastureland. The city will be in the center of it

“ The area that remains is one and two- thirds miles wide. It is eight miles long. It will not be holy. The people in Jerusalem can build houses there. They can use some of it as grasslands. The city will be in the center of it.

“ The remainder, 5,000 cubits in breadth and 25,000 in length, shall be for common use for the city, for dwellings and for open country. In the midst of it shall be the city,

“ An additional strip of land 8 1/3 miles long by 1 2/3 miles wide, south of the sacred Temple area, will be allotted for public use— homes, pasturelands, and common lands, with a city at the center.

“ The remaining area, 1⅔ miles wide and 8⅓ miles long, will be for common use by the city, for both residential and open space. The city will be in the middle of it.

“ The remainder, five thousand cubits in width and twenty five thousand in length, shall be for common use for the city, for homes and for open spaces; and the city shall be in its midst.

“ The five thousand cubits in width that remain, along the edge of the twenty-five thousand, shall be for general use by the city, for dwellings and common-land; and the city shall be in the center.

And the five thousand that are left in the breadth, in front of the five and twenty thousand, shall be for common use, for the city, for dwelling and for suburbs; and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

“ The remaining area, 1 2/3 of a mile wide and 8 1/3 miles long, will be for common use by the city, for both residential and open space. The city will be in the middle of it.

And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane[ place] for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

“ The remainder, one and two-thirds miles in width and eight and a quarter miles in length, will be for common use by the city, for houses and for open space. The city will be in the middle of it;

“ The five thousand that are left in the width, in front of the twenty- five thousand, shall be for common use, for the city, for dwelling and for pasture lands; and the city shall be in the middle of it.

他量四面，四围有墙，长五百肘，宽五百肘，为要分别圣地与俗地。

也要分定属城的地业，宽五千肘，长二万五千肘，挨着那份圣供地，要归以色列全家。

其中的祭司强解我的律法，亵渎我的圣物，不分别圣的和俗的，也不使人分辨洁净的和不洁净的，又遮眼不顾我的安息日；我也在他们中间被亵慢。
