他又对我说：“这水要向东方的地区流出去，下到亚拉巴，流入死海。这水流入死海，就使海里的水变淡（“变淡”原文作“得医治”）。

他對我說：『這些水向東方一帶地區流出，必下到亞拉巴，來到鹽海；所發出的水既流入鹽海，那水就得治好而無鹹味了。

其人謂我曰、此水流於東方、下至亞拉巴、而入於海、既入於海、海水變甘、

其人告我云、此水流至東方、過野入海、海為之甘、

其人告我曰、此水流往東境、下至曠野、曠野或作亞拉巴入鹽海、水自殿出、一入鹽海、水即變甘、

He said to me,“ This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, where it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into the sea, the salty water there becomes fresh.

The man said to me,“ This water flows toward the eastern territory. It goes down into the Arabah Valley. There it enters the Dead Sea. When it empties into it, the salt water there becomes fresh.

And he said to me,“ This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, and enters the sea; when the water flows into the sea, the water will become fresh.

Then he said to me,“ This river flows east through the desert into the valley of the Dead Sea. The waters of this stream will make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure.

He said to me,“ This water flows out to the eastern region and goes down to the Arabah. When it enters the sea, the sea of foul water, the water of the sea becomes fresh.

Then he said to me,“ These waters go out toward the eastern region and go down into the Arabah; then they go toward the sea, being made to flow into the sea, and the waters of the sea become fresh.

Then he said to me:“ This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley, and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed.

Then said he unto me, These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into the Arabah; and they shall go toward the sea; into the sea shall the waters go which were made to issue forth; and the waters shall be healed.

He said to me,“ This water flows out to the eastern region and goes down to the Arabah. When it enters the sea, the sea of foul water, the water of the sea becomes fresh.

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea:[ which being] brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

He said to me,“ These waters go out toward the eastern region and flow down into the Arabah; when they enter the Dead Sea, where the sea is stagnant, the waters become fresh.

Then he said to me,“ These waters flow out toward the eastern region, and will go down into the Arabah. Then they will go toward the sea; and flow into the sea which will be made to flow out; and the waters will be healed.

往下流的水立即止住了，在很遠的撒拉但附近的亞當城那裡漲成一道水牆。流入亞拉巴海，即鹽海的水被完全截斷了，民眾便走到對面的耶利哥。

我還把亞拉巴，就是以約旦河為界，從基尼烈直到東面毗斯迦山腳的亞拉巴海，即鹽海地區給了他們。

耶利哥城的人對以利沙說：「我主，你看這城地勢很好，只是水不好，地裡長不出莊稼。」以利沙說：「拿一個新碗裝些鹽給我。」他們就去照辦。以利沙走到水源那裡，把鹽倒在水中說：「耶和華說，『我潔淨了這水，從此它不會再使人死亡，也不會再使土地貧瘠。』」果然如以利沙所說，那裡的水變好了，直到如今。

我要用水澆灌乾渴之地，使河流滋潤乾旱之土。我要用我的靈澆灌你的後裔，使我的福澤臨到你的子孫。他們要滋長如青草，又如溪旁楊柳。』這個說，『我屬於耶和華』，那個說，『我是雅各的子孫』，還有人手上寫著，『耶和華之民』，稱自己屬於以色列。

「貧窮困苦的人找不到水喝，他們口乾舌燥。但我耶和華必應允他們的呼求，我——以色列的上帝不會撇棄他們。我要使光禿的山嶺上江河奔流，山谷中泉水湧流；我要使沙漠變成水塘，使乾地冒出泉水。我要在曠野栽香柏樹、皂莢樹、番石榴樹和橄欖樹。我要在沙漠種松樹、杉樹和黃楊樹。

曠野的走獸必尊崇我，其中有豺狼和鴕鳥，因為我使曠野有甘泉，使沙漠有江河，供我揀選的子民飲用。

包括約旦河東的整個亞拉巴，遠至毗斯迦山腳的亞拉巴海。

炙熱的沙漠變成池塘，旱地湧出甘泉；豺狼的巢穴長出青草、蘆葦和蒲草。

我必引領他們回來，他們必一路含淚禱告。我要使他們走在溪水邊，行在平坦的路上，他們必不會跌倒，因為我是以色列的父親，以法蓮是我的長子。

因為這些人心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，以致眼睛看不見，耳朵聽不見，心裡不明白，無法回心轉意，得不到我的醫治。』

那時，豺狼和綿羊羔同住，豹子和山羊羔同臥，牛犢和獅子同群，小孩子可以照看牠們。牛與熊一起吃喝，小牛和小熊一起躺臥，獅子像牛一樣吃草。吃奶的嬰孩在毒蛇的洞口玩耍，斷奶的孩子把手伸進蛇洞。在我的整個聖山上，牠們都不傷人、不害物。認識耶和華的人必充滿天下，就像水充滿海洋一樣。

你要對被囚禁的人說，『出來吧！』要對暗牢中的人說，『你們自由了。』他們在路上必有吃的，光禿的山嶺必有食物。

萬軍之耶和華說：「從日出之地到日落之處，列國必尊崇我的名。世上每個角落都有人向我焚香，獻上潔淨的供物。因為我的名必受列國尊崇。

沙漠和乾旱之地必歡喜；曠野必快樂，開滿鮮花，
