大馬士革的亞蘭人來幫助瑣巴王哈大底謝，大衛殺了亞蘭人二萬二千。

耶和華－萬軍之上帝說：「以色列家，看哪，我必興起一國攻擊你們；他們必欺壓你們，從哈馬口直到亞拉巴的河。」
