This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ Divide the land in this way for the twelve tribes of Israel: The descendants of Joseph will be given two shares of land.

This is what the Sovereign Lord says:“ These are the boundaries of the land that you will divide among the twelve tribes of Israel as their inheritance, with two portions for Joseph.

Here is what the Lord and King says.“ People of Israel, here are the borders of the land that you will divide up. You will divide up the land among the 12 tribes of Israel. Each tribe will receive a share. But the family of Joseph will have two shares.

Thus says the Lord God:“ This is the boundary by which you shall divide the land for inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall have two portions.

This is what the Lord GOD says:“ This is the border you will use to divide the land as an inheritance for the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph will receive two shares.

This is what the Lord God says:“ This shall be the boundary by which you shall divide the land for an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel; Joseph shall have two portions.

Thus says the Lord GOD:“ These are the borders by which you shall divide the land as an inheritance among the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall have two portions.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This shall be the border, whereby ye shall divide the land for inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.

This is what the Lord God says:“ This is the border you will use to divide the land as an inheritance for the 12 tribes of Israel. Joseph will receive two shares.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; This[ shall be] the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph[ shall have two] portions.

This is what the sovereign LORD says:“ Here are the borders you will observe as you allot the land to the twelve tribes of Israel.( Joseph will have two portions.)

The Lord Yahweh says:“ This shall be the border, by which you shall divide the land for inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph shall have two portions.

“ Now I am claiming as my own sons these two boys of yours, Ephraim and Manasseh, who were born here in the land of Egypt before I arrived. They will be my sons, just as Reuben and Simeon are.

Then comes Manasseh south of Naphtali, and its territory also extends from east to west.South of Manasseh is Ephraim,and then Reuben,

“ Give these instructions to the Israelites: When you come into the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your special possession, these will be the boundaries.The southern portion of your country will extend from the wilderness of Zin, along the edge of Edom. The southern boundary will begin on the east at the Dead Sea.It will then run south past Scorpion Pass in the direction of Zin. Its southernmost point will be Kadesh barnea, from which it will go to Hazar addar, and on to Azmon.From Azmon the boundary will turn toward the Brook of Egypt and end at the Mediterranean Sea.“ Your western boundary will be the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.“ Your northern boundary will begin at the Mediterranean Sea and run east to Mount Hor,then to Lebo hamath, and on through Zedadand Ziphron to Hazar enan. This will be your northern boundary.“ The eastern boundary will start at Hazar enan and run south to Shepham,then down to Riblah on the east side of Ain. From there the boundary will run down along the eastern edge of the Sea of Galilee,and then along the Jordan River to the Dead Sea. These are the boundaries of your land.”

In those days the people of Judah and Israel will return together from exile in the north. They will return to the land I gave your ancestors as an inheritance forever.

The oldest son of Israel was Reuben. But since he dishonored his father by sleeping with one of his father’s concubines, his birthright was given to the sons of his brother Joseph. For this reason, Reuben is not listed in the genealogical records as the firstborn son.

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.

May my fatherly blessings on you surpass the blessings of my ancestors, reaching to the heights of the eternal hills. May these blessings rest on the head of Joseph, who is a prince among his brothers.
