Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En gedi to En eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean.

Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds— like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.

People will stand along the shore to fish. From En Gedi all the way to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading fishnets. The Dead Sea will have many kinds of fish. They will be like the fish in the Mediterranean Sea.

Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.

Fishermen will stand beside it from En-gedi to En-eglaim. These will become places where nets are spread out to dry. Their fish will consist of many different kinds, like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.

And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.

It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.

And it shall come to pass, that fishers shall stand by it: from En- gedi even unto En- eglaim shall be a place for the spreading of nets; their fish shall be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

It will happen, that fishermen will stand by it. From En Gedi even to En Eglaim will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceedingly many.

Here is the ocean, vast and wide, teeming with life of every kind, both large and small.

“ Your western boundary will be the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea.

Jesus called out to them,“ Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”

“ These are the boundaries of the land: The northern border will run from the Mediterranean toward Hethlon, then on through Lebo hamath to Zedad;

The southern border of Gad runs from Tamar to the waters of Meribah at Kadesh and then follows the Brook of Egypt to the Mediterranean.

Messengers came and told Jehoshaphat,“ A vast army from Edom is marching against you from beyond the Dead Sea. They are already at Hazazon tamar.”( This was another name for En gedi.)

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon,“ Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish.”“ Master,” Simon replied,“ we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”And this time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear!A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said,“ Oh, Lord, please leave me— I’m such a sinful man.”For he was awestruck by the number of fish they had caught, as were the others with him.His partners, James and John, the sons of Zebedee, were also amazed. Jesus replied to Simon,“ Don’t be afraid! From now on you’ll be fishing for people!”

The generations born in exile will return and say,‘ We need more room! It’s crowded here!’

It will be just a rock in the sea, a place for fishermen to spread their nets, for I have spoken, says the Sovereign Lord. Tyre will become the prey of many nations,

Jesus called out to them,“ Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”

I have allotted to you as your homeland all the land of the nations yet unconquered, as well as the land of those we have already conquered— from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.

Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En gedi— six towns with their surrounding villages.

“ Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind.When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away.That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous,throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Simon Peter said,“ I’m going fishing.”“ We’ll come, too,” they all said. So they went out in the boat, but they caught nothing all night.At dawn Jesus was standing on the beach, but the disciples couldn’t see who he was.He called out,“ Fellows, have you caught any fish?”“ No,” they replied.Then he said,“ Throw out your net on the right hand side of the boat, and you’ll get some!” So they did, and they couldn’t haul in the net because there were so many fish in it.Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his tunic( for he had stripped for work), jumped into the water, and headed to shore.The others stayed with the boat and pulled the loaded net to the shore, for they were only about a hundred yards from shore.When they got there, they found breakfast waiting for them— fish cooking over a charcoal fire, and some bread.“ Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught,” Jesus said.So Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net to the shore. There were 153 large fish, and yet the net hadn’t torn.

David then went to live in the strongholds of En gedi.

See, my people will return from far away, from lands to the north and west, and from as far south as Egypt.”
