And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.

Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds— like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.

People will stand along the shore to fish. From En Gedi all the way to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading fishnets. The Dead Sea will have many kinds of fish. They will be like the fish in the Mediterranean Sea.

Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.

Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En gedi to En eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean.

‘ As for the western border, you shall have the Great Sea, that is, its coastline; this shall be your western border.

And He* said to them,“ Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.”

“ And this shall be the boundary of the land: on the north side, from the Great Sea by the way of Hethlon, to the entrance of Zedad;

And beside the border of Gad, at the south side toward the south, the border shall be from Tamar to the waters of Meribath kadesh, to the brook of Egypt, to the Great Sea.

Then some came and reported to Jehoshaphat, saying,“ A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Aram; and behold, they are in Hazazon tamar( that is Engedi).”

Now when He had finished speaking, He said to Simon,“ Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”Simon responded and said,“ Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets.”And when they had done this, they caught a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to tear;so they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, to the point that they were sinking.But when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying,“ Go away from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!”For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken;and likewise also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon,“ Do not fear; from now on you will be catching people.”

The children you lost will yet say in your ears,‘ The place is too cramped for me; Make room for me that I may live here.’

She will become a dry place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea, for I have spoken,’ declares the Lord God;‘ and she will become plunder for the nations.

And Jesus said to them,“ Follow Me, and I will have you become fishers of people.”

See, I have apportioned to you these nations which remain as an inheritance for your tribes, with all the nations which I have eliminated, from the Jordan even to the Great Sea toward the west.

“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered fish of every kind;and when it was filled, they pulled it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away.So it will be at the end of the age: the angels will come forth and remove the wicked from among the righteous,and they will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Simon Peter* said to them,“ I am going fishing.” They* said to him,“ We are also coming with you.” They went out and got into the boat; and that night they caught nothing.But when the day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.So Jesus* said to them,“ Children, you do not have any fish to eat, do you?” They answered Him,“ No.”And He said to them,“ Cast the net on the right hand side of the boat, and you will find the fish.” So they cast it, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great quantity of fish.Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved* said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment( for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea.But the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away, dragging the net full of fish.So when they got out on the land, they* saw a charcoal fire already made and fish placed on it, and bread.Jesus* said to them,“ Bring some of the fish which you have now caught.”So Simon Peter went up and hauled the net to land, full of large fish, 153; and although there were so many, the net was not torn.

And David went up from there and stayed in the strongholds of Engedi.

Behold, these will come from afar; And behold, these will come from the north and from the west, And these from the land of Aswan.”
