Fishermen will stand beside it from En-gedi to En-eglaim. These will become places where nets are spread out to dry. Their fish will consist of many different kinds, like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.

Fishermen will stand along the shore; from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading nets. The fish will be of many kinds— like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea.

People will stand along the shore to fish. From En Gedi all the way to En Eglaim there will be places for spreading fishnets. The Dead Sea will have many kinds of fish. They will be like the fish in the Mediterranean Sea.

Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.

Fishermen will stand along the shores of the Dead Sea. All the way from En gedi to En eglaim, the shores will be covered with nets drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean.

And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many.

It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim; they will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.

And it shall come to pass, that fishers shall stand by it: from En- gedi even unto En- eglaim shall be a place for the spreading of nets; their fish shall be after their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

Here is the sea, vast and wide, teeming with creatures beyond number— living things both large and small.

Your western border will be the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea; this will be your western border.

“ Follow me,” he told them,“ and I will make you fish for people.”

This is to be the border of the land: On the north side it will extend from the Mediterranean Sea by way of Hethlon and Lebo-hamath to Zedad,

Next to the territory of Gad toward the south side, the border will run from Tamar to the Waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the Brook of Egypt, and out to the Mediterranean Sea.

People came and told Jehoshaphat,“ A vast number from beyond the Dead Sea and from Edom has come to fight against you; they are already in Hazazon-tamar”( that is, En-gedi).

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon,“ Put out into deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”“ Master,” Simon replied,“ we’ve worked hard all night long and caught nothing. But if you say so, I’ll let down the nets.”When they did this, they caught a great number of fish, and their nets began to tear.So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them; they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus’s knees and said,“ Go away from me, because I’m a sinful man, Lord!”For he and all those with him were amazed at the catch of fish they had taken,and so were James and John, Zebedee’s sons, who were Simon’s partners.“ Don’t be afraid,” Jesus told Simon.“ From now on you will be catching people.”

Yet as you listen, the children that you have been deprived of will say,‘ This place is too small for me; make room for me so that I may settle.’

She will become a place in the sea to spread nets, for I have spoken.” This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.“ She will become plunder for the nations,

“ Follow me,” Jesus told them,“ and I will make you fish for people.”

See, I have allotted these remaining nations to you as an inheritance for your tribes, including all the nations I have destroyed, from the Jordan westward to the Mediterranean Sea.

Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En-gedi— six cities, with their settlements.

“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a large net thrown into the sea. It collected every kind of fish,and when it was full, they dragged it ashore, sat down, and gathered the good fish into containers, but threw out the worthless ones.So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out, separate the evil people from the righteous,and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

“ I’m going fishing,” Simon Peter said to them.“ We’re coming with you,” they told him. They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.When daybreak came, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not know it was Jesus.“ Friends,” Jesus called to them,“ you don’t have any fish, do you?”“ No,” they answered.“ Cast the net on the right side of the boat,” he told them,“ and you’ll find some.” So they did, and they were unable to haul it in because of the large number of fish.The disciple, the one Jesus loved, said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tied his outer clothing around him( for he had taken it off) and plunged into the sea.Since they were not far from land( about a hundred yards away), the other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish.When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire there, with fish lying on it, and bread.“ Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught,” Jesus told them.So Simon Peter climbed up and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish— 153 of them. Even though there were so many, the net was not torn.

From there David went up and stayed in the strongholds of En-gedi.
