献完了祭，王和所有在场的人，都屈膝叩拜。

祭司要取些赎罪祭牲的血，抹在殿的门框、祭坛台上的四角，以及内院的门框上。

王站在他的位上，在耶和华面前立约，要一心一意跟随耶和华，谨守他的诫命、法度和律例，实行这书上所记立约的誓言。

“我实实在在告诉你们，那不从门进羊圈，倒从别处爬进去的，那人就是贼，就是强盗；那从门进去的，才是羊的牧人。看门的给他开门，羊也听他的声音；他按著名字呼叫自己的羊，领它们出来。

他稍往前走，把脸俯伏在地上，祷告说：“我的父啊！可能的话，求你使这杯离开我；但不要照我的意思，只要照你的旨意。”

基督在世的时候，曾经流泪大声祷告恳求那位能救他脱离死亡的神；因着他的敬虔，就蒙了应允。他虽然是儿子，还是因着所受的苦难学会了顺从。

我们传扬他，是用各样的智慧，劝戒各人，教导各人，为了要使各人在基督里得到完全。

君王把甘心献的燔祭或平安祭献给耶和华的时候，朝东的门要为他打开。他就献上他的燔祭和平安祭，正如他在安息日所献上的一样。他献完了就出去；他出去以后，门就要关上。

她一观看，见王站在殿门口的柱旁，众官长和吹号的人在王的周围；国民都欢乐吹号，又有歌唱的人用各种乐器领导众人歌颂。于是亚他利雅撕裂衣服，说：“反了！反了！”
