The prince must not take any of the inheritance of the people, driving them off their property. He is to give his sons their inheritance out of his own property, so that not one of my people will be separated from their property.’”

His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

Therefore he says,“ When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.

So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

Yahweh’s word that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.Hear, you peoples, all of you. Listen, O earth, and all that is therein: and let the Lord Yahweh be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.

“ Behold, the days come,” says Yahweh,“ that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and he will reign as king and deal wisely, and will execute justice and righteousness in the land.In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely. This is his name by which he will be called: Yahweh our righteousness.

You have ascended on high. You have led away captives. You have received gifts among people, yes, among the rebellious also, that Yah God might dwell there.

Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

You eat the fat. You clothe yourself with the wool. You kill the fatlings, but you don’t feed the sheep.You haven’t strengthened the diseased. You haven’t healed that which was sick. You haven’t bound up that which was broken. You haven’t brought back that which was driven away. You haven’t sought that which was lost, but you have ruled over them with force and with rigor.They were scattered, because there was no shepherd. They became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill. Yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth. There was no one who searched or sought.”

Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad;

He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.

I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
