The prince must not take any of the inheritance of the people, driving them off their property. He is to give his sons their inheritance out of his own property, so that not one of my people will be separated from their property.’”

The prince must not take any share of land that belongs to the people. He must not drive them off their property. He must give his sons their share out of his own property. Then not one of my people will be separated from their property.”

And the prince may never take anyone’s property by force. If he gives property to his sons, it must be from his own land, for I do not want any of my people unjustly evicted from their property.”

以色列中為君者、可得斯地為畿、免其復虐我民、餘地則予以色列家、循其支派、○

其中之牧伯、若狼攫而裂物、惟欲流血、殄滅人靈、以獲不義之利、

告之曰、耶和華云、汝既殺人、又據其業乎、又告之曰、耶和華云、犬於何處舐拿伯之血、亦必於彼舐爾之血、

我曰、雅各之首領、以色列家之有司歟、爾其聽之、公義非爾所當知乎、惟爾惡善好惡、剝人之膚、剔肉於骨、食我民之肉、剝其膚、折其骨、切之成塊、若為釜而備、若鼎中之肉、

彼以寅畏耶和華為悅、不依目見而鞫、不依耳聞而擬、秉公義以鞫貧乏者、持中正以擬世之謙卑者、以口杖擊斯土、以脣氣殺惡人、

故曰、其上昇時、則俘所虜而頒賚於人、

將有一王以義而王、牧伯以公為治、其人若逃狂風之所、若避暴雨之區、若川流之水、在旱乾之處、若巨磐之蔭、在困人之地、

於是以其心之正直牧之、以其手之巧妙導之兮、

猶大王約坦亞哈斯希西家年間、耶和華以論撒瑪利亞耶路撒冷之事、諭摩利沙人彌迦、○諸民歟、爾其聽之、地與充其上者、傾耳聆之、主耶和華自其聖殿、向爾為證、

耶和華曰、時日將至、我必為大衛興一義者、乃其條肄、彼將秉權為王、以智處事、秉公行義於斯土、當彼之時、猶大獲救、以色列安居、其名必稱曰耶和華乃我義、

爾已升高、攜厥俘虜、受供品於人間、悖逆者亦供之、欲耶和華上帝居於其中兮、○

在牀謀惡營邪、迨至黎明、以手有力而行之者、其人禍哉、彼貪田畝而奪之、貪第宅而取之、且虐待其人與家、而據其業、

爾曹食其脂、衣其毛、宰其肥者、而不牧羊、弱者不扶之、疾者不醫之、受傷者不裹之、被驅者不反之、迷亡者不尋之、乃以強暴嚴酷制之、緣無牧者而散、既散、則為野獸所噬、我羊迷於諸山峻嶺、散於全地、無人尋覓、

因爾以身以肩擠之、以角牴其病者、使散於外、

彼必判爾民以義、判爾貧民以公兮、山嶽岡陵、必因公義、使民得安兮、彼必為貧民伸冤、拯窮乏之子、摧強暴之徒兮、

我亦予之永生、終弗淪亡、無能奪之於我手、
