“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ Let it suffice you, princes of Israel: remove violence and plunder, and execute justice and righteousness; dispossessing my people,” says the Lord Yahweh.

主耶和华这样说：“以色列的君王啊！你们所作的该够了吧。你们要除掉强暴和毁灭的事，施行公平和公义。不要再掠夺我子民的产业。这是主耶和华的宣告。

主耶和華這樣說：“以色列的君王啊！你們所作的該夠了吧。你們要除掉強暴和毀滅的事，施行公平和公義。不要再掠奪我子民的產業。這是主耶和華的宣告。

『主永恆主這麼說：以色列的人君哪，你們可夠了！把強暴和搶奪的事除掉哦！施行公平公義吧！將霸佔我人民產業的事拉掉起來哦。這是主永恆主發神諭說的。

主耶和華曰、以色列君乎、斯已足矣、強暴苛虐、爾其去之、秉公行義、勿復佔據民業、主耶和華言之矣、

主耶和華曰、爾以色列君畿內所產、足以自供、勿強暴攘奪、惟孳孳然行仁為義、

主天主如是云、惟爾以色列諸君歟、爾當知足、爾當知足或作爾曹當以所得之地為足勿復行勿復行原文作當除強暴攘奪、當為義行善、勿復勒索我民、此乃主天主所言、

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: You have gone far enough, princes of Israel! Give up your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Stop dispossessing my people, declares the Sovereign Lord.

The Lord and King says,“ Princes of Israel, you have gone far enough! Stop hurting others. Do not crush them. Do what is fair and right. Stop taking my people’s land away from them,” announces the Lord and King.

“ Thus says the Lord God: Enough, O princes of Israel! Put away violence and oppression, and execute justice and righteousness. Cease your evictions of my people, declares the Lord God.

“ For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Enough, you princes of Israel! Stop your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Quit robbing and cheating my people out of their land. Stop expelling them from their homes, says the Sovereign Lord.

“ This is what the Lord GOD says: You have gone too far, princes of Israel! Put away violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Put an end to your evictions of my people.” This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Enough, you princes of Israel; get rid of violence and destruction, and practice justice and righteousness. Revoke your evictions of My people,” declares the Lord God.

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ Enough, O princes of Israel! Remove violence and plundering, execute justice and righteousness, and stop dispossessing My people,” says the Lord GOD.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord Jehovah.

Yahweh says:“ Execute justice and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong. Do no violence to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow. Don’t shed innocent blood in this place.

You shall tell the rebellious, even the house of Israel,‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ You house of Israel, let that be enough of all your abominations,

These are the things that you shall do: speak every man the truth with his neighbor. Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates,

For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

There are people who remove the landmarks. They violently take away flocks, and feed them.They drive away the donkey of the fatherless, and they take the widow’s ox for a pledge.They turn the needy out of the way. The poor of the earth all hide themselves.Behold, as wild donkeys in the desert, they go out to their work, seeking diligently for food. The wilderness yields them bread for their children.They cut their food in the field. They glean the vineyard of the wicked.They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for lack of a shelter.There are those who pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor,So that they go around naked without clothing. Being hungry, they carry the sheaves.They make oil within the walls of these men. They tread wine presses, and suffer thirst.From out of the populous city, men groan. The soul of the wounded cries out, yet God doesn’t regard the folly.

You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.

Then there arose a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brothers the Jews.For there were some who said,“ We, our sons and our daughters, are many. Let us get grain, that we may eat and live.”There were also some who said,“ We are mortgaging our fields, our vineyards, and our houses. Let us get grain, because of the famine.”There were also some who said,“ We have borrowed money for the king’s tribute using our fields and our vineyards as collateral.Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brothers, our children as their children. Behold, we bring our sons and our daughters into bondage to be servants, and some of our daughters have been brought into bondage. It is also not in our power to help it, because other men have our fields and our vineyards.”I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words.Then I consulted with myself, and contended with the nobles and the rulers, and said to them,“ You exact usury, everyone of his brother.” I held a great assembly against them.I said to them,“ We, after our ability, have redeemed our brothers the Jews that were sold to the nations; and would you even sell your brothers, and should they be sold to us?” Then they held their peace, and found not a word to say.Also I said,“ The thing that you do is not good. Shouldn’t you walk in the fear of our God, because of the reproach of the nations our enemies?I likewise, my brothers and my servants, lend them money and grain. Please let us stop this usury.Please restore to them, even today, their fields, their vineyards, their olive groves, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the grain, the new wine, and the oil, that you are charging them.”Then they said,“ We will restore them, and will require nothing of them. We will do so, even as you say.” Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they would do according to this promise.Also I shook out my lap, and said,“ So may God shake out every man from his house, and from his labor, that doesn’t perform this promise; even may he be shaken out and emptied like this.” All the assembly said,“ Amen,” and praised Yahweh. The people did according to this promise.

For he has oppressed and forsaken the poor. He has violently taken away a house, and he will not build it up.

Soldiers also asked him, saying,“ What about us? What must we do?” He said to them,“ Extort from no one by violence, neither accuse anyone wrongfully. Be content with your wages.”

From the bottom on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the width a cubit.The upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.The altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, square in its four sides.

“ How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.“ Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?No, but you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and that against your brothers.

You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.

Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”
