An area 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits wide will belong to the Levites, who serve in the temple, as their possession for towns to live in.

So the Levites will serve in the temple. They will have an area eight miles long and three and a third miles wide. The towns they live in will be located there.

Another section, 25,000 cubits long and 10,000 cubits broad, shall be for the Levites who minister at the temple, as their possession for cities to live in.

The strip of sacred land next to it, also 8 1/3 miles long and 3 1/3 miles wide, will be a living area for the Levites who work at the Temple. It will be their possession and a place for their towns.

There will be another area 8⅓ miles long and 3⅓ miles wide for the Levites who minister in the temple; it will be their possession for towns to live in.

An area twenty five thousand cubits in length and ten thousand in width shall be for the Levites, the ministers of the house, and for their possession cities in which to live.

An area twenty-five thousand cubits long and ten thousand wide shall belong to the Levites, the ministers of the temple; they shall have twenty chambers as a possession.

And five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth, shall be unto the Levites, the ministers of the house, for a possession unto themselves, for twenty chambers.

There will be another area 8 1/3 miles long and 3 1/3 miles wide for the Levites who minister in the temple; it will be their possession for towns to live in.

An area eight and a quarter miles in length and three and one-third miles in width will be for the Levites, who minister at the temple, as the place for the cities in which they will live.

Twenty- five thousand in length, and ten thousand in width, shall be for the Levites, the ministers of the house, as a possession for themselves, for twenty rooms.

And over against the border of the priests the Levites[ shall have] five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length[ shall be] five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

All the oblation[ shall be] five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.

Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo,[ there were] chambers, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty chambers[ were] upon the pavement.

And for them,[ even] for the priests, shall be[ this] holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand[ in length], and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.

For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in[ their] set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge[ was] upon them, and the opening thereof every morning[ pertained] to them.And[ certain] of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.[ Some] of them also[ were] appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.And[ some] of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.And Mattithiah,[ one] of the Levites, who[ was] the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.And[ other] of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites,[ were] over the shewbread, to prepare[ it] every sabbath.And these[ are] the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites,[ who remaining] in the chambers[ were] free: for they were employed in[ that] work day and night.

Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live[ of the things] of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where[ are] the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
