於是以色列眾在七月節期、咸集王所、

爾場之穀、爾壓酒處之酒、既已斂藏、當守居廬節七日、守節期之時、爾與子女奴婢、及居於爾邑之利未人、客旅孤寡、俱必歡樂、七日間當守節期在主爾天主前、於主所選之處、爾之物產、爾之操作、既蒙主爾天主賜福、則必欣喜歡樂、

來攻耶路撒冷之列邦人、其中所遺者、每歲必上、耶路撒冷、崇拜大君萬有之主、守居廬節、天下萬族、不上耶路撒冷崇拜大君萬有之主、必無雨降於其地、如伊及族不上不至、雨必不降於其地、列邦人、凡不上而守居廬節者、主必降以如斯之災、伊及人、列邦人、凡不上而守居廬節者、必受斯罰、

節期末日、即大日、耶穌立而呼曰、人渴、當就我飲、信我者、其腹必流活水之川、如經所載、耶穌言此、乃指信之者所將受之聖神、蓋當時聖神未降、以耶穌尚未得榮也、
