“ This is what the Lord GOD says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you are to take a young, unblemished bull and purify the sanctuary.

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In the first month on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect and purify the sanctuary.

The Lord and King says,“ Get a young bull. It must not have any flaws. Use it to make the temple pure and‘ clean.’ Do this on the first day of the first month.

“ Thus says the Lord God: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a bull from the herd without blemish, and purify the sanctuary.

“ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In early spring, on the first day of each new year, sacrifice a young bull with no defects to purify the Temple.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ In the first month, on the first of the month, you shall take a bull without blemish and cleanse the sanctuary from sin.

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish and cleanse the sanctuary.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish; and thou shalt cleanse the sanctuary.

“ This is what the Lord God says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you are to take a young, unblemished bull and purify the sanctuary.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first[ month], in the first[ day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:

“‘ This is what the sovereign LORD says: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you must take an unblemished young bull and purify the sanctuary.

“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ In the first month, in the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without defect; and you shall cleanse the sanctuary.

He will make atonement for the most holy place in this way for all their sins because of the Israelites’ impurities and rebellious acts. He will do the same for the tent of meeting that remains among them, because it is surrounded by their impurities.

how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we can serve the living God?

“ On the second day you are to present an unblemished male goat as a sin offering. They will purify the altar just as they did with the bull.

You are not to present anything that has a defect, because it will not be accepted on your behalf.

“ This month is to be the beginning of months for you; it is the first month of your year.

and make atonement for the most holy place. He will make atonement for the tent of meeting and the altar and will make atonement for the priests and all the people of the assembly.

For seven days the priests are to make atonement for the altar and cleanse it. In this way they will consecrate it

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have boldness to enter the sanctuary through the blood of Jesus—he has inaugurated for us a new and living way through the curtain( that is, through his flesh)—and since we have a great high priest over the house of God,let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.

but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb.

According to the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.Therefore, it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves to be purified with better sacrifices than these.For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands( only a model of the true one) but into heaven itself, so that he might now appear in the presence of God for us.He did not do this to offer himself many times, as the high priest enters the sanctuary yearly with the blood of another.

“ At the beginning of each of your months present a burnt offering to the LORD: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old— all unblemished—with six quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each bull, four quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for the ram,and two quarts of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each lamb. It is a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.Their drink offerings are to be two quarts of wine with each bull, one and a third quarts with the ram, and one quart with each male lamb. This is the monthly burnt offering for all the months of the year.And one male goat is to be offered as a sin offering to the LORD, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.

But in the sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year after year.For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

For this is the kind of high priest we need: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.
