你要把你的財物，和一切初熟的農作物，敬奉耶和華。這樣，你的倉庫必充滿有餘，你的榨酒池也必盈溢新酒。

按著律法，幾乎所有都是用血潔淨的，如果沒有流血，就沒有赦免。照著天上樣式作的既然必須這樣去潔淨，天上物體的本身，就應該用更美的祭品去潔淨了。

萬軍之耶和華說：“凡以家畜中公的許了願，卻又詭詐地拿有殘疾的獻給主，那人當受咒詛；因為我是大君王，我的名在列國中是可敬畏的。”

萬軍之耶和華說：“你們把瞎眼的獻為祭，這不是惡嗎？你們把瘸腿的和有病的獻上，這不是罪嗎？你把這樣的禮物獻給你的省長，他會喜歡你或是悅納你的禮物嗎？”

就是神在基督裡使世人與他自己和好，不再追究他們的過犯，並且把和好的道理託付了我們。因此，我們就是基督的使者，神藉著我們勸告世人。我們代替基督請求你們：跟神和好吧！神使那無罪的替我們成為有罪的，使我們在他裡面成為神的義。

所以，他必須在各方面和他的弟兄們相同，為了要在神的事上，成為仁慈忠信的大祭司，好為人民贖罪。

基督既然藉著十字架消滅了仇恨，就藉著十字架使雙方與神和好，成為一體，

我們作仇敵的時候，尚且藉著神兒子的死與他復和，既然復和了，就更要因他的生得救了！
