The prince himself is the only one who may sit inside the gateway to eat in the presence of the Lord. He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way.”

君入、必由門廊之道、出亦由之、斯土之民、於諸節期、詣耶和華前時、凡由北門入而崇拜者、必由南門而出、由南門而入者、必由北門而出、不可返於所入之門、必直前而出焉、民入、君亦於其中而入、民出、君亦偕之、

試觀依形軀之以色列人、食祭物者、非與於祭壇乎、然則何謂耶、言祭像之物為足稱乎、抑像為足稱乎、乃謂異邦所祭者祭鬼耳、非上帝也、我不欲爾與於鬼也、爾不能飲主杯、兼飲鬼杯、不能與主席、兼與鬼席、我儕可犯主忌乎、抑力勝於主乎、○物皆相宜、然不盡有益、物皆相宜、然不盡建立、勿求益己、惟求益人、凡售於市者食之、毋為良心而詢也、蓋地與其所有、無不屬主、有不信者宴爾、而爾欲往、凡所陳者食之、毋為良心而詢也、設有語爾者曰、此乃祭物、則勿食之、為語爾者、且為良心也、所謂良心、非爾心、乃彼心也、蓋我之自由、胡為被他人之良心擬議乎、若我蒙恩而共食、胡為因我所感謝者受謗乎、如是、爾或食或飲、凡所為者、皆以榮上帝而為之、勿使人躓礙、或猶太人、或希利尼人、或上帝會、如我凡事悅眾、不求益己、乃求益眾、使之得救也、

穀與酒油之什一、首生之牛羊、許願祭、樂獻祭、舉祭、不可食於諸邑、惟於爾上帝耶和華所選之處、爾與子女僕婢、及居爾邑之利未人食之、樂乎爾手所為、於爾上帝耶和華前、

在彼食於爾上帝耶和華前、與爾眷屬、樂乎爾手所為、即爾上帝耶和華錫嘏之事、

惟穫者得而食之、頌美耶和華斂者得而飲之、於我聖所之院、○

我立於門而叩、有聞我聲而啟者、我必入就之、偕彼而餐、彼亦偕我焉、

其貨與利、將為聖於耶和華、不藏不積、為居於耶和華前者所用、俾得飽食、而衣盛服、

望見王立於室門柱側、百夫長與吹角者、侍於王側、四境之民歡欣吹角、謳歌者以樂器和眾頌美、亞他利雅裂衣、呼曰、叛矣、叛矣、

謂之曰、萬軍之耶和華云、有名萌蘖者、必由其地挺生、將建耶和華之殿、彼建耶和華之殿、亦必得其尊榮、居其位而主治、在其位為祭司、使此二者之間、著和平之謀議、
