But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the people of Israel fall into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign Lord.

彼遂舉手而誓曰、必仆之於野、

人子歟、斯人納其偶像於心、置陷罪之窒礙於前、我豈聽其諮諏乎、爾當告之曰、主耶和華云、以色列家中、凡納其偶像於心、置陷罪之窒礙於前、而詣先知者、我耶和華必循其偶像之眾多而應之、

且我在野發誓、必散之於列國、分之於異邦、

我復在野發誓、必不導之入我所賜流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

昔以色列族迷途時、有利未人遠我、從事偶像、必負其罪、

我所見立於海與地之使者、舉右手向天、指生至世世、造天地海與其中之物者、誓曰、時不復延矣、

我向天舉手曰、我指永生而誓、倘礪閃爍之刃、施行審鞫、敵我者、我必罰之、憾我者、我必報之、必使我矢醉於血、我刃吞厥肉、即被虜見殺者之血、敵魁頭顱之肉、

我所命獻於我室之祭品禮物、爾何踐踏之、重爾子過於我、取我民以色列所獻之嘉者、以肥己乎、故以色列之上帝耶和華曰、昔我有言、爾與爾祖之家、將恆久行於我前、今我則曰、決不如是、凡尊我者、我必重之、凡藐我者、我必輕之、

導民者誘入迷途、受導者淪胥以亡、

當日我與之誓、必導之出埃及、入我所選流乳與蜜之地、即諸地之美者、

我民緣無知而見滅、爾棄知識、我亦棄爾、不容為我祭司、爾忘爾上帝法律、我亦忘爾子、

我既導之入所誓賜之地、彼見高岡茂樹、遂乃獻祭、奉禮以激我怒、焚馨香、行灌奠、

彼不得詣我前、供祭司之職、亦不得近我至聖之物、必因所行可惡之事、而負其辱、

耶和華指雅各之榮而誓曰、彼之所為、我永不忘、

祭司歟、爾其聽之、以色列家、爾其聆之、王室爾其傾耳、審鞫有關於爾、因爾為擭於米斯巴、為網於他泊、

惟爾偏離其道、俾多人躓於法律、利未之約、爾亦爽之、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、因爾未守我道、在於法律、偏以待人、故我使爾成為可厭、眾民所鄙、○
