既在偶像前、為民供役、為以色列家之窒礙、陷之於罪、故我舉手而言、彼必負其罪、主耶和華言之矣、

既崇事偶像、誘以色列族陷於愆尤、故我耶和華指己而誓、必加以罪、

主天主曰、利未人、曾於偶像前為民供役事、使以色列族陷於罪愆、故我發誓必罰之、使負罪愆、

But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the people of Israel fall into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign Lord.

亞哈斯王上大馬士革去迎接亞述王提革拉‧毗列色，在大馬士革看見一座壇，就照壇的規模樣式作法畫了圖樣，送到祭司烏利亞那裏。祭司烏利亞照着亞哈斯王從大馬士革送來的圖樣，在亞哈斯王沒有從大馬士革回來之先，建築一座壇。王從大馬士革回來看見壇，就近前來，在壇上獻祭；燒燔祭、素祭、澆奠祭，將平安祭牲的血灑在壇上，又將耶和華面前的銅壇從耶和華殿和新壇的中間搬到新壇的北邊。亞哈斯王吩咐祭司烏利亞說：「早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，國內眾民的燔祭、素祭、奠祭都要燒在大壇上。燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血也要灑在這壇上，只是銅壇我要用以求問耶和華。」祭司烏利亞就照着亞哈斯王所吩咐的行了。 (cunpt)

「人子啊，這些人已將他們的假神接到心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，我豈能絲毫被他們求問嗎？所以你要告訴他們：『主耶和華如此說：以色列家的人中，凡將他的假神接到心裏，把陷於罪的絆腳石放在面前，又就了先知來的，我－耶和華在他所求的事上，必按他眾多的假神回答他， (cunpt)

你們卻偏離正道，使許多人在律法上跌倒。你們廢棄我與利未所立的約。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。所以我使你們被眾人藐視，看為下賤；因你們不守我的道，竟在律法上瞻徇情面。」 (cunpt)
