既崇事偶像、誘以色列族陷於愆尤、故我耶和華指己而誓、必加以罪、

主天主曰、利未人、曾於偶像前為民供役事、使以色列族陷於罪愆、故我發誓必罰之、使負罪愆、

But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the people of Israel fall into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign Lord.

But these Levites served the people of Israel. They served while the Israelites were worshiping the statues of their gods. They made the people fall into sin. So I raised my hand and made a promise. I warned them that I would punish them because of their sin,” announces the Lord and King.

But they encouraged my people to worship idols, causing Israel to fall into deep sin. So I have taken a solemn oath that they must bear the consequences for their sins, says the Sovereign Lord.

亚哈斯王到大马士革会见亚述王提革拉．毗列色，看见在大马士革的祭坛。亚哈斯王就派人把祭坛的图样、结构和详尽的做法送到乌利亚祭司那里。于是乌利亚祭司按着亚哈斯王从大马士革送回来的一切指示建造祭坛。在亚哈斯王从大马士革回来以前，乌利亚祭司就照样做了。王从大马士革回来，看见了那祭坛，于是王走到祭坛旁边，登上台阶，烧他的燔祭和素祭，又浇上他的奠祭，并且把他的平安祭牲的血洒在祭坛上。至于耶和华面前的铜祭坛，他把它从殿前，从新坛与耶和华殿中间移至新坛的北边。亚哈斯王吩咐乌利亚祭司说：“要在这大祭坛上焚烧早晨的燔祭、黄昏的素祭、王的燔祭牲和素祭、所有国民的燔祭和素祭；也要在坛上浇上他们的奠祭，以及所有燔祭牲和平安祭牲的血。至于铜祭坛，我要用来求问神。”乌利亚祭司就照着亚哈斯王一切所吩咐的去行。

所以他对他们起誓，必使他们倒在旷野，

“人子啊！这些人已经把他们的偶像接到心里去，把那陷他们在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，我怎能让他们向我求问呢？因此，你要告诉他们，对他们说：‘主耶和华这样说：以色列家的人中，凡把他的偶像接到心里去，把那陷自己在罪孽中的绊脚石放在自己面前，却又来见先知的，我耶和华必按他拜众多偶像的罪报应他，

我在旷野也曾经向他们举手起誓，要把他们分散在列国，四散在万邦；

我在旷野也曾经向他们举手起誓，必不领他们到我赐给他们的流奶与蜜之地，就是万邦中最荣美的地。

以色列人走迷了路的时候，有利未人远离我，走迷了路。他们离开我去随从他们的偶像，他们必担当自己的罪孽。

我看见那站在海上和地上的天使，向天举起右手来，指着那活到永永远远，创造天和天上之物、地和地上之物、海和海中之物的神起誓，说：“必不再延迟了！

我向天举手说：我活到永永远远；如果我磨亮了我的刀剑，如果我掌握了审判权，就必向我的仇敌伸冤，必向恨我的人报应。我要使我的箭饮血饮醉，就是被杀的人和被掳的人的血；我的刀剑要吃肉，就是吃仇敌长发首领的肉。’

你们为什么轻视（“轻视”直译是“踢”）我所吩咐要为我居所献上的祭牲和礼物呢？（《马索拉文本》本句意思不明确）你为什么尊重你的儿子过于尊重我，用我子民以色列所献一切最好的礼物自肥呢？’因此，耶和华以色列的神说：‘我曾说：你的家和你的父家，必永远行在我面前。’现在耶和华却说：‘我决不容你们这样行了，因为尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐视我的，必受到轻视。

因为那些领导这人民的，使他们走错了路；那些被领导的，都必一片混乱。

那日，我向他们举手起誓，要把他们从埃及地领出来，到我为他们所选定的流奶与蜜之地，就是万邦中最荣美的地。

我的子民因无知识而灭亡；因为你拒绝了知识，我必拒绝你，不让你作我的祭司；因为你忘掉了你神的律法，我也必忘记你的子孙。

我领他们到了我曾经举手起誓要赐给他们的那地，他们看见各高山和茂盛的树林，就在那里献祭，在那里奉上惹我发怒的供物，也在那里献上馨香的祭，并且在那里浇上他们的奠祭。’

他们不可亲近我，作我的祭司，也不可亲近我的一切圣物，或至圣之物。他们必要担当自己的羞辱和他们所行可憎之事的报应。

耶和华指着雅各所夸耀的起誓说：“我必永远记着他们所作的一切；

祭司啊，你们要听这话！以色列家啊，你们要留心听！王的家啊，你们要侧耳而听！因为审判必临到你们，因你们曾是米斯巴地的捕鸟机，是他泊山上张开的网罗。

万军之耶和华说：“你们却偏离了正路，使许多人在律法上跌倒；你们也破坏了我与利未所立的约。因此，我也使你们在众人面前被藐视、受轻看，因为你们不遵守我的道，在律法上徇人的情面。”
