“ On the second day, you will offer a male goat without blemish for a sin offering. They will purify the altar just as they purified it with the bull.

“ On the second day you are to offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering, and the altar is to be purified as it was purified with the bull.

“‘ On the second day offer a male goat. It must not have any flaws. It is a sin offering to make the altar pure and“ clean.” So do the same thing with the goat that you did with the bull.

And on the second day you shall offer a male goat without blemish for a sin offering; and the altar shall be purified, as it was purified with the bull.

“ On the second day, sacrifice as a sin offering a young male goat that has no physical defects. Then cleanse and make atonement for the altar again, just as you did with the young bull.

“ On the second day you are to present an unblemished male goat as a sin offering. They will purify the altar just as they did with the bull.

‘ And on the second day you shall offer a male goat without blemish as a sin offering, and they shall cleanse the altar from sin as they cleansed it with the bull.

On the second day you shall offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.

And on the second day thou shalt offer a he- goat without blemish for a sin- offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

“ On the second day you are to present an unblemished male goat as a sin offering. They will purify the altar just as they did with the bull.

“ For seven days you will provide every day a goat for a sin offering; a young bull and a ram from the flock, both without blemish, will be provided.For seven days they will make atonement for the altar and cleanse it, so they will consecrate it.

You will take some of its blood, and place it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around; you will cleanse it and make atonement for it.

Though the LORD desired to crush him and make him ill, once restitution is made, he will see descendants and enjoy long life, and the LORD’s purpose will be accomplished through him.

Then he presented the burnt offering ram and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,and he slaughtered it. Moses then splashed the blood against the altar’s sides.Then he cut the ram into parts, and Moses offered the head, the parts, and the suet up in smoke,but the entrails and the legs he washed with water, and Moses offered the whole ram up in smoke on the altar– it was a burnt offering for a soothing aroma, a gift to the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

“ You are to take one ram, and Aaron and his sons are to lay their hands on the ram’s head,and you are to kill the ram and take its blood and splash it all around on the altar.Then you are to cut the ram into pieces and wash the entrails and its legs and put them on its pieces and on its headand burn the whole ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD, a soothing aroma; it is an offering made by fire to the LORD.

but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.

All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on his own path, but the LORD caused the sin of all of us to attack him.
