You are to take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the upper ledge and all around the rim, and so purify the altar and make atonement for it.

‘ Get some of the bull’s blood. Put it on the four horns of the altar. Also put it on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar and all around the rim. That will make the altar pure and“ clean.”

就是帳幕和禮拜用的一切器皿，他也照樣地用血灑。其實幾乎可以說，按照律法，凡物都是用血潔淨的：沒有流血的事，就沒有赦免的事。這樣，天上之事的仿本既然必須用這些禮節來潔淨，那天上的本物自然必須用比這些更好的祭獻去潔淨了。
