You are to take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the upper ledge and all around the rim, and so purify the altar and make atonement for it.

‘ Get some of the bull’s blood. Put it on the four horns of the altar. Also put it on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar and all around the rim. That will make the altar pure and“ clean.”

亚伦的儿子奉上血，他就把手指蘸在血里，抹在祭坛的四角上，把剩下的血倒在祭坛脚那里；

他照样把血洒在会幕和各样应用的器皿上。按着律法，几乎所有都是用血洁净的，如果没有流血，就没有赦免。照着天上样式作的既然必须这样去洁净，天上物体的本身，就应该用更美的祭品去洁净了。
