Then he said to me,“ Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: These will be the regulations for sacrificing burnt offerings and splashing blood against the altar when it is built:

Then the man said to me,“ Son of man, the Lord and King speaks. He says,‘ Here are the rules for the altar when it is built. Follow them when you sacrifice burnt offerings and splash blood against it.

And he said to me,“ Son of man, thus says the Lord God: These are the ordinances for the altar: On the day when it is erected for offering burnt offerings upon it and for throwing blood against it,

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: These will be the regulations for the burning of offerings and the sprinkling of blood when the altar is built.

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is constructed, so that burnt offerings may be sacrificed on it and blood may be splattered on it:

And He said to me,“ Son of man, this is what the Lord God says:‘ These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is built, to offer burnt offerings on it and to sprinkle blood on it.

And He said to me,“ Son of man, thus says the Lord GOD:‘ These are the ordinances for the altar on the day when it is made, for sacrificing burnt offerings on it, and for sprinkling blood on it.

And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt- offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

Then He said to me:“ Son of man, this is what the Lord God says: These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is constructed, so that burnt offerings may be sacrificed on it and blood may be sprinkled on it:

And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These[ are] the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

Then he said to me:“ Son of man, this is what the sovereign LORD says: These are the statutes of the altar: On the day it is built to offer up burnt offerings on it and to sprinkle blood on it,

He said to me,“ Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says:‘ These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they make it, to offer burnt offerings on it, and to sprinkle blood on it.

He set the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, and offered on it burnt offerings and grain offerings, as the Lord commanded him.

In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies.In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

You are to slaughter the young bull before the Lord, and then Aaron’s sons the priests shall bring the blood and splash it against the sides of the altar at the entrance to the tent of meeting.You are to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the wood that is burning on the altar.You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.“‘ If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, you are to offer a male without defect.You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar.You are to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the wood that is burning on the altar.You are to wash the internal organs and the legs with water, and the priest is to bring all of them and burn them on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.“‘ If the offering to the Lord is a burnt offering of birds, you are to offer a dove or a young pigeon.The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar.He is to remove the crop and the feathers and throw them down east of the altar where the ashes are.He shall tear it open by the wings, not dividing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is burning on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

He then presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.Then Moses slaughtered the ram and splashed the blood against the sides of the altar.He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces and the fat.He washed the internal organs and the legs with water and burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, a food offering presented to the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses.

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: In the first month on the first day you are to take a young bull without defect and purify the sanctuary.The priest is to take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, on the four corners of the upper ledge of the altar and on the gateposts of the inner court.

The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.

He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times to cleanse it and to consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites.

to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

He said to me,“ Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.”

It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:“ Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased.Then I said,‘ Here I am— it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’”First he said,“ Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”— though they were offered in accordance with the law.Then he said,“ Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second.And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,
