And these[ are] the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit[ is] a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom[ shall be] a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about[ shall be] a span: and this[ shall be] the higher place of the altar.

“ These are the measurements of the altar in units of length( each unit being the standard length plus three inches): The gutter is 21 inches deep and 21 inches wide, with a rim of nine inches around its edge. This is the base of the altar.

“ And these are the measurements of the altar by cubits( the cubit being a cubit and a hand width): the base shall be a cubit and the width a cubit, and its border on its edge all around one span; and this shall be the height of the base of the altar.

“ These are the measurements of the altar in cubits( the cubit is one cubit and a handbreadth): the base one cubit high and one cubit wide, with a rim all around its edge of one span. This is the height of the altar:

I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers[ were] a full reed of six great cubits.

And thou shalt make an altar[ of] shittim wood, five cubits long, and five cubits broad; the altar shall be foursquare: and the height thereof[ shall be] three cubits.And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.And thou shalt make his pans to receive his ashes, and his shovels, and his basons, and his fleshhooks, and his firepans: all the vessels thereof thou shalt make[ of] brass.And thou shalt make for it a grate of network[ of] brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brasen rings in the four corners thereof.And thou shalt put it under the compass of the altar beneath, that the net may be even to the midst of the altar.And thou shalt make staves for the altar, staves[ of] shittim wood, and overlay them with brass.And the staves shall be put into the rings, and the staves shall be upon the two sides of the altar, to bear it.Hollow with boards shalt thou make it: as it was shewed thee in the mount, so shall they make[ it].

And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits[ long] by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.
