人子、以色列族所作不端、既自知有罪、抱愧含羞、則必以此殿之規模形製、出入之處、及禮儀法度、書之於册、俾眾目睹、使彼恆守、

惟爾人子、當以此殿示以色列族、使彼因其罪愆、自覺愧怍、彼當量度其式、

“ Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their sins. Let them consider its perfection,

那人對我說：“人子啊！我所要指示你的，你都要用眼看，用耳聽，並要放在心上，因為我帶你到這裡來，為的是要指示你；你所看見的，你都要告訴以色列家。”

他們若因自己所行的羞愧，你就要把殿的設計、結構、出入之處，以及一切設計、規條、禮儀、法則，都指示他們，在他們眼前寫下來，使他們遵著殿的一切設計和規條去作。

好使你在我赦免你所行的一切時，就會回想，自覺慚愧，並且因你所受的羞辱不再開口。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”

你要留心照著在山上指示你的樣式去做。”

那麼，你們在現今以為羞恥的事上，當時得了甚麼呢？那些事的結局就是死。

大衛說：“以上這一切，就是一切工作的樣式，都是耶和華用手寫給我，使我明白的。”

你走了你姊姊所走的路，所以我必把她的杯交在你手裡。主耶和華這樣說：你必喝你姊姊所喝的杯，那杯又深又闊，容量甚大，必使你成為嗤笑和譏諷的對象。

大衛把殿的走廊、房屋、庫房、閣樓、內殿和安放施恩座的聖所的圖樣，都交給他的兒子所羅門；
