人子、以色列族所作不端、既自知有罪、抱愧含羞、則必以此殿之規模形製、出入之處、及禮儀法度、書之於册、俾眾目睹、使彼恆守、

惟爾人子、當以此殿示以色列族、使彼因其罪愆、自覺愧怍、彼當量度其式、

那人對我說：「人子啊，你要留心用眼看，專心用耳聽，注意我指示你的一切，因為我帶你來這裡正是為了要指示你。你要把所見到的一切告訴以色列人。」

他們若為自己的行為感到羞愧，你就把殿的構造、出入口等整個設計，以及殿中的一切律例和法則告訴他們，並且當著他們的面寫下來，讓他們忠於設計，遵守律例。

我要赦免你所有的罪，那時你想起這事會羞愧難當，不敢再開口。這是主耶和華說的。』」

你務要照著在山上指示你的樣式造這些器具。

做了現在想起來也覺得羞恥的事，得到了什麼益處呢？那些事只能導致死亡！

大衛說：「以上這一切都是耶和華親手指示我的，讓我明白工作的細節。」

你既然步你姐姐的後塵，我要讓你喝她喝的那杯。』「主耶和華說，『你必喝你姐姐那又大又深的杯，成為人們恥笑和辱罵的對象。

大衛將殿的走廊、房舍、庫房、樓房、內室和安放施恩座的聖所的圖樣都交給所羅門，
