Then the man brought me to the gate facing east,

Then the man brought me to the east gate.

Then he led me to the gate, the gate facing east.

After this, the man brought me back around to the east gateway.

He led me to the gate, the one that faces east,

Afterward he brought me to the gate, the gate that faces toward the east.

Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east.

When he had finished measuring what was inside the temple area, he led me out by the east gate and measured the area all around: (niv)

Then the man brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary, the one facing east, and it was shut. (niv)

Then he went to the east gate. He climbed its steps and measured the threshold of the gate; it was one rod deep. (niv)

“‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: The gate of the inner court facing east is to be shut on the six working days, but on the Sabbath day and on the day of the New Moon it is to be opened. (niv)

While I watched, the cherubim spread their wings and rose from the ground, and as they went, the wheels went with them. They stopped at the entrance of the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them. (niv)

The glory of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east. (niv)
